As the title says my wife has been complaining recently that my dick isn't quite as hard as it used to be and we have been married for a little over a decade now and I don't necessarily want to go to the doctor and get Viagra because I certainly don't need help getting it up but if there is any guys or girls out there that might know of some techniques or vitamins or anything in general to create extra firm this I would gladly appreciate it and give it a shot.

You might try a pump & cock ring. In any event, check with your doctor; it could be a sign of something more serious that needs addressing.

The penis is the 'dip stick' of the male body. It could be a number of things so you should have that discussion with your doctor - could be circulatory, low blood pressure, high cholesterol. Yeah, it's not fun to talk about it - my doc makes it easy and always asks "any problems with erections?" same as anything else on the exam...but so far it's been nope everything is still age 17 there, it's the rest of my body that concerns me....

Well as I have aged, I don't get as hard as when younger. A properly fitting cock ring works great for me.

The wife is correct. Not to worry though. Your cock has a muscle structure that weakens as you age. It's slow over time but the loss can lead to issues with erections not being as hard as when you were a teen. Lack of that steel hard erection you once had becomes more likely the older you get. It may have become softer when fully erect but it shouldn't stop your ability to have intercourse. The main culprit is your body’s inability to hold blood in the penis that is pumped in to form that erection. Because of this you may be able to get an erection, even a teenage steel erection at first, but not keep it as hard for as long. The blood flows in when the brain says it's time to fuck but the muscles that hold it there have weakened and let some leak back out. Therefore your partner, wife, notices the lost hardness. Changes in your genitalia are normal aging processes so don't be alarmed. There are remedies.

If you aren't ready for ED meds I suggest you start doing Kegel exercises. Squeeze your ass cheeks together like you want to stop that piss stream mid pee. Hold it for 3 seconds and then relax 3 seconds. Repeat 10 - 20 times over, 3 or 4 times a day. There are iOS and Android apps available that can help you remember to Kegel while driving that big rig down the road. In order to know what muscles to really squeeze try stopping your piss next time you are going by squeezing between your legs. Once you've figured out to stop that piss stream you have figured out how to do a Kegel.

Someday you will need to talk to your doctor as age related changes affect your life including your sex life. Effective treatment is available. Erectile Dysfunction used to be something men lived with and stopped having the joy of fucking a beautiful woman much less having an orgasm while squirting semen from your cock. But medical research has found certain medicines that help the male anatomy function well into the senior years. They can be a wonderful addition to your regimen. I take them regularly and have a wonderful sex life. So don't be too proud to see a doctor because life is too short to go around with a limp dick.

Sure. The biggest factor is lifestyle. Diet and exercise, sleep and positivity aura. If you're eating nutritiously and avoiding the harmful stuff, stay strong and fit, sleep well, and have a grateful positive outlook on life then that goes a long way to support sexual health.

This. All this. Get the work up, take the diet and exercise advice and DO them. Then maybe a cockring to explore.

what meds are you on, now? Lisinopril is notorious for weaker erections and even full ED.

You're on the right track with less stress and exercise. Your doctor can cover other potential issues.
Slower, more deliberate, relaxed masturbation helps as does prostate massage. If you're looking for an exceptional cock ring, check out Primal Rings.

I don't know where you got this info but it is incorrect. Since Lisinopril increases blood flow, erectile dysfunction is a rare side effect and less than 1% of people taking lisinopril report that. I take Lisinopril. By itself it doesn't fully control my BP. So I have to supplement it with Amlodipine. But that medicine rarely causes ED either. What does cause ED is high blood pressure.

I've been on lisinopril for years, and there is zero problems with the E in the ED department. I would be the first guy to say, Doc, nope, I'm not taking it, I want more salt.

I agree with Barry. Using ED medication is a way forward if your doctor or chemist assesd your current medical status. ED medications either Viagra or Sildenafil should be taken only with medical advice.
I have started on this very recently because sometimes I had problems with maintaing strong erection throughout a sex session. It is early days and I found it worked all the time with strong rigid erections. Also helped to achieve maximum girth and length at the time of sex which I didnot experience befor the medication.
