And why would DMX be ok, but pot not? It seems there would be a greater chance of countering your medication with another form of med then with a natural herb of the land.

took up to 90 pills of 25 milligrams within the last 6 months of taking them and took them for 5 years

that evens out to roughly 1 every two days

if your statement is true, it HARDLY warrants a concern for legitimate brain damage


and actually, LSD is far, far, FAR less harmful to the body and the nervous system than either ephedrine or DXM.....ESPECIALLY dxm which is one of the most harmful drugs you can use....

i certainly wont claim that LSD is harmless, but it is infinitely safer than either of the drugs you mentioned

 

Man i have heard some serious BS in my life but meds for siezures like potassium bromide and phenobarbital, valproate and others have been used with weed. i know far too many stoners from the 80's who had no issues at all with doing this.

 

robo makes you vision blurry too which causes you too make typos

DXM acutally didn't cause any seizures for me yet...not saying it won't because they say prolonged use of iit does

 

there has been little research done on human users, but the animal literature suggests DXM, and other NMDA antagonists, can cause massive brain damage after constant exposure.

anecdotal evidence, and the limited abilities of chronic users, suggests the phenomena extends beyond the rats and into the human experience, as with most things.

from your posts, when you're sober or not, i'd guess you'd do best to quit DXM. the seizure meds are a stupid excuse.

 

I startes taking DXM along with benzos to combact anxiety and I remembered that cold meds knocked you out so I figured it would help anxiety

I was scared to ask my doc for anymore benzos because my other doctor increased my dose and then said "if what I'm giving you isn't helping then I won't give you anymore at all

I liked the effect from DXM so I contiued using it

and then there's neurontin, which is used for treatment of epilepsy. marijuana is often used in place of these medications in places where medical use is permitted.

marijuana and neurontin have similar pharmacological effects from what i understand, but as in other posts i will mention i am not a pharmacologist....

but i, too, have known people who have been on the medications and had no issue smoking marijuana. if anything, it should work WITH the medications.....

and i'm not a doctor, but i'm skeptical that two assumed seizures warrants a continual dose of antiseizure medications.

it sounds to me more like a search for a chemical solution to all of lifes issues. like regardless of the issue, someone can't hack it without some kind of drugs
