Some think the oaring would be that less boring when minus our more-ing, but life's not more awing for not docking; stocking naught short of embarking, running aground is but overbound skylarking...

rowed Dejavu, almost confused, barely beholding the littoral of which he was enamoured. Far out, he exclaimed, If I be blessed by her merjesty, let her take me for shore!

    repost from elsewhere

the goblin saluted everyone again, explaining "...yes, most people have some talent, it's just that they either don't know they have it, or they don't see why they should use it when it doesn't pay them anything to do so, and yet, either way where I can't speak for others here, I do know that since I started writing for real in posts I see other people's writings and illustrations from the ease or difficulty entailed, also it forces me to stockpile my posts for later use, to keep a mental tab on scenes, lines, plots, conclusions, etc., whereas before I just thought of something wrote it out and forgot about it, just post and discard then, so perhaps writing is appraising one's thoughts as one stores those things worth reposting outside oneself and stuff worth reiterating within inside one, just it adds a purpose to one's thinking and to one's posting too, where perhaps too all this post and discard that one's sees around one now is one's own worst enemy here, not for what one then misses out on per se, but more because post and discard leaves one's with fleeting thoughts and fading memories, that's all..."

repost from elsewhere, a bad moment in the past

june 20th and the goblin is thinking that it's his mother's birthday today, wants to phone to say "hello" and to show that he is thinking of her, but knows that she is too senile to understand anything anymore, so instead he just admits to himself something saying "...funny, before when she was all there before we could talk for hours, and later, when she is gone on, we'll be able to talk to one another again I suppose, but now I am just silent here with her in my silent thoughts...", and "happy birthday mum" those thoughts are telling him now, yet they don't want to remain silent at all, ah no, some things like this just scream out from inside

    repost from elsewhere,

beautiful idea, felt the goblin who had phoned dad instead with nothing much to say beyond the usual I just wanted to hear your voice again safe bet between us, while knowing that the nursing home too, looks after mum well where they accept visits, yes, but always, understandably, both patients and visitors alike have to conform to their norms there, simply one's madness and sentimentality has to be reserved for one's internet-self instead, whereas in dailylife one slowly sinks into some sobriety of met expectations, explaining "...so perhaps the older one gets, the more one becomes aware, aware of just what other people are thinking, and thus expecting from one by it, no it's no problem really, only that at times I do miss my carefree youth, where forumland is this eternal youth to me where I can be just any age I choose.."

repost from elsewhere, the "what are you doing" thread

the goblin is looking at a beautiful woman seated opposite him remembering a time when they were like slot machines, where one inserts one's piece, presses the knobs and is amazed by hitting the jackpot, even if later one does see it as some sort of expensive addiction, "...haven't played the slot machines in years..." the goblin adds, continuing "...doesn't stop me looking at them though..."

repost from elsewhere, some old stuff,

the goblin saluted the bots again, suspecting that they were running out of credible put-downs now, saying "...well let's just let those "nobodies" not like me then, because a few real somebodies here seemed to have reached over that barb where I thank them for it...", in fact, the goblin liked everyone, and certainly his biggest mistake was either trying to prove himself or trying to defend himself here, knowing instead that he should just remember that he is anonymous, saying "...you think your put-downs change things or matter far more than they do, but, in the end of the day, it's not who those puts-down that one remembers of oneself here, no it's ever and always that bigger question of what has one created for the duration that one has been here that haunts you still, because that certainly haunts me too, where all those silly views of "good" or "bad" or "whatever" are just some backseat critic's attitude, a mere shadow of something perhaps, and not the thing in its own right..."

("...yay, 80hits a day, so continue posting with me humans as I fail as a livewriter if I'm alone in this..." mentioned the goblin who would post on alone having thousands of posts that still needed editing but that he preferred to see other trying too, explaining "...you see, a writer wants a readership, but for a livewriter that's actually second prize between the two, why, because a livewriter is out to motivate his readership into replying, for a replyship rewards the livewriter with something to read in return for his efforts...")

    repost from elsewhere

the goblin was thinking, that between the choice of inflation and deflation where what with the united states government is being faced with a recession, one which they do claim to almost over even if they are increasing the number of policemen needed for next year to about double what they have today, will probably choose inflation here, if only because the money, through use of those printing presses, remains under control here, whereas deflation knows no brakes as they say, so the goblin simply said "...all meaning that one's savings should devalue by this conjecture then though we won't know for sure if the real recession has hit until late autumn of this year when investors usually claw back the investments, after all 1905, and 1929, and the south sea bubble all happened in late autumn, even if all through the summer months one saw signs of something afoot..."

Dejavu, being human, knew the reader ship of others only by their reply ship, so with signaller flair he shot the breeze by way of indicating he arknowledged the live wright as well as the active idler. Just as he was about to board an inflated dirigible to ride over the tidings between them, he remembered something he had posting elsewhere in forumland...

Goblin! Fleamailman! You are a superb persona, and an excellent person, and we must celebrate your success in beating christmas! But take back, do, your likening beautiful women to slot machines, even if the most beautiful forgive you for it! Not only will the fair muses not transform you into a slot, but you will gain great returns on your readering! :-D

("...I like your replies Dejavu..." went the goblin thinking upon them, adding "...at my age what I think of women make little difference as long as I don't it...")

repost from elsewhere, complaints about the goblin's persona again

well if moddy is only going to notice the goblin's persona each time skipping the post's content, then the goblin could live with that he knew, after all moddy too, was a persona in her own right, where simply if one remained posting on forumland it was inevitable that one would become recognizable where what was recognized of one was one's persona now, so the goblin simply said "...yes my persona is whatever, but it's that conformity, which you desire of me here, that is exactly what I fear most on forumland, just you want clones of your approved members each time, whereas I want to be my myself instead, so why must I be otherwise to what I am now..."

repost form elsewhere, as semi goth "last post" thread

the goblin was not playing Zen here, "...nah, I want a win like one where she just explodes as fireworks do in the hot night sky to the radio tunes in the back of my car, a tigress, a temptress, an angel without mercy to her unbridled passion, in other words, one very much like a good cup of coffee, oh yes, that's the type of win I deserve mortals MYAHAHAHAA, second thoughts, forget the woman bit, just hand over the coffee then, I will let you live if you do..."

repost from elsewhere, same moddy still harping on about the goblin's persona, turns out to be a man

the goblin would now like to make a full apology here, saying "...I am very sorry I really thought xxxxx was a woman from his repetitive pokemon style posts , so all you women now, if you are reading this, please accept my heartfelt apology then..."

    repost from elsewhere

the evening always brought the goblin's primal emotions to the fore, "...no, I never write for others, you know that much of me, just a post has to be something all or nothing ..." his voice was slow now, continuing "...simply I alternate between the vision and the explanation each time, well if you write, it's simply a repetition of that isn't it, you walk between those two states each time, where one has to experience the vision for oneself to its full on the one hand while then being able to explain it to those who can't see your vision on the other...", just the goblin was trying to put into words here that those who wrote lived between these states as in a shared life perhaps, so the goblin repeated the muse's pact again, in the way that she had first told him so many years ago now, remembering her saying with a smile "...goblin our pact goes honesty, a shared life, and a thick skin..." where her smile as if welcomed one to her world here, "...and what's in it for me muse...", the memory seemed a vision at the time, "that journey to self goblin, your journey here, for what else could you possibly want, besides what else is really yours to want for anyway...", oh yes she could be very persuasive

"Ah, the Goblin. How nice to find you here. Yes, a shared life, with the muse and perhaps another ..." Lucky smiles as she remembers her pact.

A new post just for this occasion, not quite perfect, but one must post before one reposts and polishes.

Incinerating all it encounters, not even reason stands a chance against the blazing fire of red hot passion. When two humans crave and must have each other all disappears from their brain but this consuming need to be one. "Yes, this is how emotions entwine with lust and blinds all reason." Lucky says and smiles as she sees it in the eyes of a human. "But do they know even the flame of passion can be extinguished by the cold touch of jealousy and the want to possess. Or that their lust can bring on an unexpected outcome? It can bring bliss beyond their wildest dreams or crippling despair." Lucky counts her blessings and says, "What if all humans could find that balance between lust and reason, wouldn't they then all be happy with the object of their desire and not covet what they cannot have? And wouldn't that take them one step closer to a perfect world?" With a little smile curving her lips Lucky whispers, "It can be done. Lust balanced with reason, all it takes is trust and for humans to lose that need to possess what they cannot own."

("...hello white dove..." replied the goblin who then explained it, saying "... the original post is never as good as the repost, that's why one reposts it many times before it exactly feels enough to merit the term finished...", and then to his amazement he saw that luckyme was now here too, and that everyone was in for a treat, saying "...this is far better than that writer's forum for starting with, later we can go back with much more ammo, meaning a wider choice to choose form, but let's talk about here first, well there is a good pace of posts by interesting talented posters, moreover you have carte blanche to post exactly as you please, none of that writer's forum's belittlement, and no one pulling post, no they've been very kind to me to date, and although some servers won't let me connect to this forum for whatever reason, I love the freedom of here now...")

repost from elsewhere, very very elsewhere

the goblin thanked xxxxx again, saying "...for me, it's not how some author is classified or ranked by others, that matters, for if I like something, even if everyone else doesn't, I would still like it then, whereas if I don't like it, no amount of ranking is going to change that opinion for me..", in fact, the goblin's day on forumland was mostly divided up into either helping those who were trying to write in their posts, or battling those who tried to belittle him, even if they haven't noticed by now that their forum seemed to have two main threads upon it, the original self introduction thread titled the goblin showed up and the other thread being their poll called do we ban the goblin, to which the goblin just smiled amiably, confessing "...ah, but that's all part of my seductive charm I suppose, I mean at least these days I'm not lacking for your company now..."

Smiling Lucky thanks the Goblin for his praising words and feels she somehow now has the duty to only show the best of her best, for expectations run high. Maybe not by others, but her own mind will not settle for less than her best. "Yes, how right you are." She says and smiles. "Not made a real landing yet on a new one of a kind, but have been introducing myself and posted some replies. All on topic off course and no pictures yet." Now she laughs as she thinks about how a certain livewriter we both know did not last long on that other place. "The gods, as he calls them, did not read and feared him even more than they loathed me. Even said he was either you or me. How is it that writers when in high places lose the ability to read? And indeed delete the one thread which had the most views and replies in the least amount of time?" Lucky shrugs and decides it is their loss, for she has learned from this and gained what was not there before.

("...more forums on forumland than stars in the night's sky..." replied the goblin trusting luckyme, adding "...I'll back you up whenever you need me, just it's a learning curve that both me and Jats are still going through, we know some things but much is still new about livewriting so your newer than us but we still new to this too, but here anyway you're amongst friends and this progresses in stages then, in a few years time you'll be famous, no you don't believe me perhaps, yet who is offering what else on forumland here where most readers actually are...")

    repost from elsewhere,

in fact, the goblin never felt himself not to be a troll, though often it turned out to be like one for he returned that which was given to him in kind, just mirroring the other members around him then, it was as if he engaged others in whatever manner they cared to address him in, and ignored them when they ignored him, no he wrote for himself alone, he was selfish then, and yet at the same time he was always reciprocal by nature, just as his feeding demanded, saying "...well my posts never show malice but I can show my teeth if I must..."

repost from elsewhere, the lupusbots's "last post" thread

"...there is no thread on this whole wide Internet that I would rather read than this one then, oh and by now I am on so many forums that it seems that there just isn't enough goblin to go round now, but, when here, they all seem like chatter, or me being clever...." ventured the goblin, continuing "...but no, here it's me listening, following each word of your posts for no other motive than you tell me something and I listen, and afterwards, an inner silence is returned to me each time I do now, so the angel is not there to be nice, but perhaps her gift of sobriety is still a gift is it not, a taste of salt that helps one cede the superfluous, where it's the same boat for us all xxxxx, but none of those other forums sees the boat quite like you lupusbots can, you pilot me then where we're no different, just that elsewhere sleeps on it seems..."

Dejavu was thrilled to see luckyme join the goblin, he saw their elsewhere, and wondered at what made the goblin select certain things for here from his elswehere, and further wondered if there were an elswhere where the goblin posted everything, a home star among the stars, though he guessed it was probably his hard drive. Dejavu was different to the many who don't think about how they will be read, and from the few too that do, and so write for themselves. So was he then mad? What was his writing after all? Somehow, Dejavu was more than an artist. Somehow he was more than a thinker. A momentous question. He had the whole of history ahead of him to inform him of how lifes living examples inevitably succumb to this or another movement, but movement itself? Let the historic remain what it is insisted it must be, that is to say behind us, growled Dejavu, who was not afraid to breathe great disdain into his words, -- since I am an artist, and so could live, or at least desire my whole life in a day, and since I am a thinker, and so rubbish that same thought without a second one, thought that is, -- I shall instead be a creator no matter what...

("...well I have a storethread hidden somewhere..." started the goblin thanking dejavu for his interest, adding "...hundreds upon hundreds of posts too, but I need to edit them into something better perhaps, so depending upon the forum I pick a page, for example on this forum I've got to page 54 now, and then post one or two posts a day drip feeding this thread then so that I forced myself to edit my posts on the one hand while I keep your interest up on the other, first because the repost is better than the original, and because most of my newer posts are just replies to someone somewhere, meaning I depend on being fed replies, where only a few of those replies ever motivate my enough to reply in full like now...", simply the goblin was saying that the pace and nature of the forum decided its purpose and to him, saying "...no one forum is ideal for me, it has to be a spectrum of forums then...")
