someone is off the wagon again i think. or on the wagon? I never remember which.

 

I am taking my wagon and going home!

Today was a long day and I have a decision to make that needs to be pondered........so I am going to go sit in my tub and do so.

If nothing else, I will feel great after a long soak.

 

I went outside and blew bubbles... Then they froze! Pretty funkin' cool

 

never before in my life have I had to stop on a highway in a whiteout and turn around because it was safer than going forward....I had to ride the yellow line with my door open because I couldn't see

so I went back to town and hung out with the dude that owns the pub.....he had already tried and turned around

then all of a sudden it stopped snowing so I fled.....10k an hour the whole 12 kilometers but I made it.

normally I wouldn't risk my life like that but sons medication was put on the boat at 7 by the drug store and it docked at 1030....

3.5 hours to travel the normally 22 minute route......ferry was stuck in the ice out in the middle of the lake for 2 hours

 

the wagon is the way to recovery...you get on the wagon to be sober.....you fall off the wagon when you drink

 

Were you on the ferry when it got stuck ..the weather sounds brutal:freezing:

 

It was pretty brutal here today too. low 70s with a slight breeze

I wanna start snowboarding this year

I've never been snowboarding or skiing before, my gf goes skiing a lot, every year her family goes on a skiing tip

she's doesn't know how to snowboard though and wants to try it, so we're planning on going pretty soon, looks so fun i can't wait to try it

Any of you been snowboarding? I used to skateboard a lot for yeears... i'm hoping that gives me some sort of advantage but i doubt it

 

Snowboarding is fun. It's a really weird feeling at first and youll probably eat shit for most of the day but it doesnt take long to get the hang of it.

 

did you take lessons your first time? My gf wants us to take a 2 hour lesson... but i don't really know if thats needed or not lol

 

No. I started when I was about 8 years old.

I used to ride with my older brother and cousins so I guess they taught me.

 

i guess thats a bit different then she knows how to skii really well so im sure she'll get the hang of it quick, we might do the lesson anyways.. (for my sake )

I imagine it'll probably be like long boarding down a decent hill... except a lot harder...
