i couldnt bear to have a dog in an apartment, the yard was the whole reason we made such an effort to get into our first house. so that we could GET a dog, and so that my boy could run around outside, dig in dirt, climb on things. its home base now. our official starting point, not a prequel. we will fix it up, and eventually rent it out, once we have our farm purchased and farmhouse built. a tiny home community will go in on part of our property, some permanent structures, some movable for sale/ rent. i can keep adding structures, and making money from it. and it would be cheap rent too, because they are so small. wind and solar power. my dreams are too big for my britches.

and of course, you guys will all have to come visit. an SL convention.

Dogs in an apartment should be looked upon as animal cruelty.

 

My dog goes with me everywhere ...most places let her in...target won't and they have a dog as a mascot...

 

You can bring a dog most places in Germany too XD

 

i think dogs CAN be had in an apartment, but it has to be a suitable dog. some small dogs can be trained to use a pad. some old dogs are very lazy. if you are willing to walk them when needed its not really a problem. but it would be more work than im in for. i like to open the door and let the dog run to her hearts content. when we leave the house she is confined to her crate and bed (shes such a small dog that its more like a bedroom, its 20x30 inches)
i just cant agree that dogs in apartments always equals animal cruelty.

it will be good times at the SL convention. brownies, cookies, cakes, homemade bread, lasagna, ice cream and bacon.... burgers and fries and fried chicken. and waffles and muffins and pancakes and cinnamon rolls.... it will be grand indeed. we can play games, fly kites, build stuff. paint stuff. set some stuff on fire. fun for all!

 

spent hours trying to fix the wiring in this car... the stereo didn't work apparently there were cut wires.. I finally got it working, then i find out theres a disc stuck in the CD player.... I take out the CD player and now i have no clue how to get this disc out.. i've been staring at it for like 30mins... I brought it inside now to google it, can't find anything on google..

So fucking annoying because i can see the disc! Its right there on top... there's a little clamp that clamps into the inner circle whole on a CD... so i lift that up... and you'd think it'd just slide out right? Nope... when you lift that its still stuck... and i have no clue whats holding it in place other than that clamp uptop...

i got a ton of places to go tomorrow if i dont have music in the car im gunna drive off the nearest cliff, i fucking hate this car even more and more and more

is there any way to get music in a car without any legitimate stereo? I'm thinking fuck it, i have no clue how to fix this shit... This car is confusing as hell... I'm not even exadgerating when i say there's like 30+ buttons on the dash of this car, there's 2 different screens as well... and its a '92 so this isn't good because technology was shit then why the hell did they add so much stuff to this car...

the radio works, sometimes, but not really... i press every button and it will sometimes come on, but then soon as i turn the car off i have no clue how to get it on again... there's a casset player... but that doesn't work either.. i found a random casset in the car so i put it in and it got jammed of course... the CD player didn't work and is still jammed, i have no clue how to get the CD out... and once it is out i bet you anything it still wont work anyways.....

and there's no way in hell i can keep a car that can't play music... i'll go insane... Portable speakers maybe but that'll sound like crap and be so queit... i just need some alternative... there's obviously no AUX or anything in here, even if there was i wouldnt know which of the 100 buttons controlled it...

I still have my broken down civic parked outside, i was thinking of taking the stereo out of that and putting it into the olds, but i couldn't get it out... seems easy enough but i couldn't get my arm back behind it lol.. so i tried to just pop it out from the front but it seemed like it was about to break.. (it was also pitch black out and had to use a flashlight, i'll try again in the daylight... i would make a terrible car thief )

i have a weird feeling it wont work though, i dunno, i feel like there's a lot more messed up with this cars stereo system than the jammed CD... but we'll see.

I was gunna black out the hubcaps today (desperately trying to make this thing look better ) because we have some Krylon Fusion laying around... so i thought perfect, this stuff is meant for plastic materials...

Turns out they aren't plastic... first metal hubcaps i've ever owned lol... I don't know what paint/primer to use now.. I don't know what type of metal is typically used to make hubcaps? What spray paint/primer is best for metal in general?

 

Car audio can be complex. Have you done this before?

 

you either go to junkyard and find a replacement factory one...or buy an install kit and wiring harness to add an after market one

I did my own stereo with the kit from crappy tire...it wasn't too bad....ortus don't paint the hubcaps...they will look so bad in a week...you will regret it....polish them...

I've seen tons of people paint there hubcaps on youtube and online.. only reason i wanna paint them is cause in big bold letters they say OLDSMOBILE... on all 4 of them... looks rediculous...

pffft ive been in 1 accident... 1 time.. thats all...
