Even when you are feeling down and out, you still make me grin and laugh...

Like ML, I am sending you all kinds of good thoughts (and prayers, too).

I got high as a Georgia pine last night with firecrackers and wine and talked to my very special, karmic friend that lives in Oregon last night for 3 1/2 hours...yes Three and One-Half hours!

I went downstairs to talk and when we finished I could barely make it up the steps. But then when you go s l o w and get both feet on one step before you go to the next one, you're usually alright. lol

Mother's Love, I've been wanting to tell you how very cool I think your dragon is. With what looks like a few strokes, you captured him (or her)!

I knew you were into crafts...I should have known you could draw. :)

One of my favorite wall hangings is of a dragon and a phoenix.

not me. but i wont know where our finances are until we have the bills properly caught up. until then im doing what i can, which is planning a second tiny home to be built alongside mine, so that my very favorite squirrel will never be without a nut house. its not something that will materialize tomorrow, but im working on it. i hate money. its a means to an end. but i hate it. i havent worked in 8 years, we are not rolling in dough. well, not the money kind anyway. being resistant to money has not helped my family's ability to save. you should see if theres some sort of helper person, who can advocate for you locally. if you are really not making money, those are numbers. numbers are hard to argue with. but regardless, you WILL keep your chin up, and not let paper or numbers worry you. you have life, and thats a good start. you have friends, love, and thats a good second. you are not alone, you will never be alone, and while all i could offer you is a place to park your vehicle and a hot meal, i would gladly give a limb to get you out of your current troubles. btw how much do you think a limb goes for on the black market?
"left arm, rarely used. " i promise you you have a brighter future. i can see it. hang in there.

Lynn- thank you :) it was just a quickie. im a multicrafter, and a better doodler than a sketch artist. ive done a couple of decent paintings, made a few quilted pieces, made some clothes, and some dolls. i work well in clay and wood and metal. but i get bored very quickly, and dont usually make two of anything in a row. i like to have supplies on hand so that i can go "oh! i have the stuff to make this!" and then do it and feel good and forget about it. there have been some fails, and i know some really incredibly talented people, so i never feel up to par. but its fun, and it keeps my hands busy, and gives my mind something to focus on.

i might have to pull out some other stuff ive made to take pics and share. ill see whats worth it.

When I was getting married in 1970 the guy did not like dogs because of something that happened to him when he was a kid. I knew that I could not marry someone who did not like dogs, so for a wedding present I gave him a puppy. This worked out really well. The marriage did not last for many other reasons but the last time I saw him he had three dogs and could not dream of his life without them. I always liked to think that I did something good.

    Me too Orison. :grouphug:

That looks like more than 20 cars. My block has a dip in the middle. I live in the middle of the block and you have to drive uphill to get off either end of the block. I am already wondering what it will be like tomorrow. They only plow my street if we get more than 4 inches of snow. We got the 4 inches a couple days ago, so they never plowed. Yesterday there was a full inch of packed ice and snow on the street. Today they are predicting another 4-6 inches of snow but say it also might rain for a while. Tomorrow they are predicting -14f degrees. I have a feeling my block will be one big ice rink.

Reminds me of my first car. 84' Cutlass Supreme. That car lasted forever and it had some balls.

Moved in to new place. So happy to have a place to live for the next year.

My venture into Oldsmobile was the '67 442... I had three of them, 2 coupe and one sedan... I think they made less than 500 sedan 442. (Sedan has window frame around the glass at the top of the doors) Fast and handled like it was on rails. Of course none of mine were stock... Also not worth much at the time but unobtainium now. $$$ If I had a garage full of the cars I owned back in the day I would be a very wealthy guy...

Snow/rain mix today... Negative temps tonight.

    Congrats on the new place.

@rolling... Cool that the cat came back.

    Congratulations on the new place.

I am glad the kitty came back and that you are letting him sleep inside. He knows where the food is and is lucky to have you.
