About squash...Mama does this stove top concoction where squash and onion are
slowly seared/fried in water with a little oil added. If I'm around right then, I'll grab some
up before it gets as soft as she likes it.

I put this in the toaster and add cheddar on top. yum. :drool5:

If I'm not there right then, I'll put the softer concoction in the toaster with cheddar. lol

hey everyone, hope you had a great new year's eve :sifone:

my bf and I went to our friends house before a party, and unfortunately he can't help himself from eating whatever junk food happens to be on the table. this time it was cookies, last time gummy bears... he ended up getting a stomach ache, didn't want to drink and took me home after the party it was a nice night but, anti climatic

 

Today is now the coldest day I've ever experienced. -37C, windchill isn't bad though, only takes it to -40C.

My car came so close to not starting today, but I won in the end. Except it makes this awful squealing noise for a minute or two on these extremely cold days.

 

I don't want to have to start mine but I will just to see if it starts.....same temp here brother...my kitchen water is close to a wall so its frozen..;;;;;

have a heater on it........had to go upstairs and get water in the washroom tap for coffee....last night my washing machine was frozen....had to thaw it out so the motor would start my load

glen I posted an ad about sheep...I was hoping or an opinion on the price,,,,Shetland-150 ...I think they are gone though

 

It's not fair to make a post like this and then not expand on it :tongue:

 

The nice thing about being in an apartment building is that I don't really have to deal with pipes freezing and all of that. And if they do somehow happen to freeze, it isn't my problem

 

holy shit....my road is gone....under 4 foot drifts from one end to the other

if I need an ambulance right now it would be a helicopter
