like a 50 foot heavy duty extension cord was a good price...half of Canadian tires price....and I bought a really good hose there this summer for 10 bucks...thick soft rubber....its now a frozen 200 foot long stick out in the yard somewhere

I've decided to pursue a career (and get my masters degree) in gym locker room boy studies :2thumbsup:

basically just be attending to the mens locker room at the local gym. cleaning it, making sure the sauna and jaccuzi are working properly etc..

Yesterday was a bit odd for me...but really good. :2thumbsup:

 

Years ago when I was in college, I took a wine-tasting class. It was on Tuesday nights. I remember there were 8 or 9 of us plus the prof. There would always be at least 10 bottles we would "sample".

I remember how one is supposed to "sample"...how it swirls in the glass and how it drips/comes down the side of the glass, the aroma, and oh, something else...the after taste? You're also supposed to spit it out, which we weren't made to do that. :2thumbsup: However, I remember nothing else of any Tuesday night that entire semester. There are probably other things I should remember about sampling too; but, oh well. lol

I'm drinking some cabernet now, and I think it's time to quit.

I think I corrected 20 mistakes in this post before I posted it. If there are any left, I'm leaving them.

Why are men so obsessed with sports mainly football? Flip by ESPN and I swear 9 times out 10 it is football. Not just pro but college, a bunch of people who will be accountants in a few years and these guys obsess over it. I have my interests too but this one makes no sense to me. Of all the sports it is the one that requires the least physical fitness in my opinion. Most of the strategy is stand around and let the clock tick. Compare that to hockey where the puck is in play all the time and if it is not the clock is stopped.

It almost seems to me like they need these other men's accomplishments to make them men. Like they say "we won" when all they did was drink some beer. I had a few friends who had the "little league" dad who was bitter he did not make it pro and I was sort of black listed (benched in a everyone plays league/not invited to team parties) as a kid because my parents actually said "it's unlikely they will be pro, why not let them have fun". No one else wanted to hear that, their boy will be the next John Elway and that is it.

I think baseball and golf require a lot less physical fitness than football.
