Just an attempt to keep a lot of the spoilers out of the other threads. My Super Bowl party don't start until well after the Super Bowl has finished as none my friends feel like getting up and watching it right now at Midnight on a Monday. Here are my bets. $4 - Atlanta to score exactly 31 points @ $41 $10 - Julio Jones first TD scorer @ $9 $10 - Edelman first TD scorer @ $11 $10 - Atlanta to win by 14+ @ $9 $20 - Atlanta to win @ $2.35 I know it is a big ask but, stuff happens in big games.
great idea but i wouldnt count on no spoilers in some threads if you really like to see the game unfold in real time aka the time you are watching it.
Jaaaaaaaa, I'll probably try and stay of the internet hehe. Or not go into random thoughts threads. I also need to stay off social medias and ignore my emails lol.
been there done that many times one could thing for me is nobody talks about the penguins or tigers much so it is rare i run into a spoiler....but when i do.
Nobody used to talk NASCAR here and last year I asked for no spoilers in the 500 and that's all Karen wanted to talk about.
reminds me of when the tigers were in the playoffs 2 years ago, i recorded the game and went to work. nobody talks baseball at work so i thought everything was fine. then some asshole who everyone hates just starts talking about the game. this dude never said one word of baseball before but now that i am recording a playoff game it was all he could talk about.
Patriots greatest comeback in the History of the NFL Pats 34 AtL 28 In the history of the playoffs when a team was down by more than 17 points after 3 quarters, the team leading won 144-0, now it's 144-1 Hotwater
man oh man...Gaga has the best pipes ever! Hearing her sing, and put on her show was worth watching it...but I was disappointed in the game itself But no Big deal.... Gaga rocks!
If your referencing 10 years ago (the 2007 season) who cares, and we’re already the favorites to come out of the AFC next year. I’m hoping we’ll face the Cowboys. Hotwater
I spoke to my brother on Saturday, who lives in Atlanta with his wife and kids. They were all "pumped" (I think that's the American expression ) about the game. They must be gutted the Falcons were on the receiving end of the greatest comeback in NFL history.
my favorites for next year are chicken and mushrooms with udon. i thought this was about a super bowl of noodles.
Yeah well, I'm discovering that I really wish those dirty birds had won. But its all good... My Panthers didn't get there this year. :-(
I thought it was a good game. Usually I have like, something to say about it but how can argue with that game? It was a don't argue game, it was a fantastic come back. That Edelman catch too, you just can't be too upset coming from a non Atlanta fan. It gives you hope in a way that you can come back from 28-3. I saw the Broncos come back against the Chargers one game a few years ago. We were down 24-0 at the half and won 37-24. lol. I still think the game was in the hands of the Falcons until that sack with about 4mins to go. Pushed them outside FG range. I agree with the commentary he should have tossed that at the feet of the RB and gone to 4th down. Lost fumbles hurt too. I wouldn't say the Atlanta defense fully crumbled down, they were just outplayed in the end. For 2.5 quarters they were on top, maybe they became to comfortable.
i heard that he thought it was stolen but it turns out an overzealous equipment manager just snatched it and locked it up to prevent such a theft.
