    Lol

I probably wouldn't throw too many flags I don't think. I'd be more like holding? Holding? Well if he's holding you needa try harder to get around him mate. :p

Ohhh I kinda have a fun question for everyone at the end of this. :)

It must be pretty hard as an official I'd say in a lot of football sports to make calls. The best I've seen are baseball umpire man they're usually always spot on from anything I've seen. Sometimes I'm like, Oh fuck off he threw him out at first, that's impossible to say. And then the replay is always right lol.

Sometimes I watch football with friends, lately more rugby because of the world cup soon but anyway like we might see different stuff on the TV. For instance a forward pass, we might see forward or back on live TV but the replay we take a look and then we might see it differently.

So umpiring must be a tough gig especially some of the calls in NFL. Or maybe you just. Learn it from such a younger age. But if I was a umpire I'd be looking at the ball carrier or QB or receiver, or whoever has that football cause I ain't looking at 20 other dudes lol.

My favourite commentator is the dude that works with Al... Davis? I can't remember the guys name. Abc or espn. I'm thinking Sunday night football. Anyway that dude can see penalties all over the place and he tells you straight away "that's going to be a hold on #62 such n such" and I'm like wtf how you see that shit I'm watching the ball in the air. :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

Which brings me to. How do you guys actually watch an nfl game? Do you just watch the ball and QB like me or do you look at the Defense and see gaps for route running and then look at the QB or what?

I watch the ball and the QB and allow the commentator and analyst to point out the match-ups and nuances.

Because I’ve been watching Football for so long I usually call out the penalties before the referee makes the announcement.

As for my favorite football analyst I’ll go with Antonio (Tony Romo)

If it's my team, I'll watch both sides of the ball. With offense, I usually focus on the QB and ball, but pay attention to motion, package formations, etc. With defense I usually pay attention to their formation, like if they are dialing up a blitz, I'll watch the guy blitzing or more generally, whoever is the best out of the linebackers and edge rushers.

If it's a game I have no rooting interest, I'll mostly watch QB and ball.

baseball's relatively easy. there's only one or two players in motion, and you know exactly where they're going and what you need to be looking for. and most importantly, the ball makes a nice slapping noise when it lands in the glove, so you just need to see whether the runner had touched the base before or after you heard the slap.

now basketball, that's fucking impossible to ref. 10 people flailing wildly in a clump, usually at least half of them directly between you and the ball.

it was a typical browns outing.

i assume you're a 49ers fan? i'm actually indifferent to them, i just came across that meme and found it appropriate for this thread.

Shit at least wait until the week they're playing.

Nothing says Faggot quite like talking crap about a team in another conference who you have no established rivalry against.
