(Bear in mind, this post was intended for adolescent Irish!!)Is it considered acceptable as a college student to offer to take a girl to a hotel for the so called "ride". Because it should be... I thought most girls would be flattered. So why isn't it? Does it imply that one considers having sex to be a rare or a special occasion? I know as college students we're expected to get it on in dingy dorm rooms with others listening, but is there anything wrong with believing in better. I'd like the perfect setting, knowing that I have all the time in the world and that nothing is going to interrupt while I devour this girl. I once offered it to a girl who I got laid with, and she looked at me like I had four heads. What is wrong with people???
There is a historical stigma associated with taking a lady to a hotel room explicitly for sex. It is normally associated with prostitutes and rundown, "charge-by-the-hour" hotels. Society and entertainment media have done a pretty good job of perpetuating this bad image. As a result, if you offer to take an otherwise willing woman to a hotel for sex, there is a tacit suggestion that you want her for nothing else and might be willing to pay for it. (After all, if you're willing to pay for the hotel room, doesn't it stand to reason that you might be willing to pay for the sex itself?) Now, having said all of that, I suspect that, if presented properly, there's no reason you couldn't get her to agree to a hotel room instead of wherever else you were planning on "getting it on". Couched in the right context, you might even be able to, as you say, flatter her with the suggestion. You could try something along the lines of, "I really want you, but Bruce (hypothetical roommate) could walk right in on us here in the dorm room. How would you feel if I sprung for a room at the Holiday Inn? We'd have a room all to ourselves, a nice big bed, seclusion, and check-out time isn't until 11 AM *tomorrow*?" Now, in spite of that, I know for a fact that some women are much more casually receptive to the idea. I have a friend (from any years ago) who had a summer (office) job with the state department of transportation. He got friendly with a good-looking woman in the office who was just a few years older than him. I have no idea what led up to this but, one day, they took off together during their lunch break, got a motel room nearby, fucked each others brains out for a good solid hour, and then went back to work to finish the day off normally. He told me that that two of them never interacted socially again. Go figure.
I think maybe its the way you said it, try to putting it different, make her feel special tell her that you thought it would be more romantic
