Has anyone else experienced somewhat distorted visuals if you really concentrate on things after the use of Psychedelics? I had used 25i and had no problems, then LSD, and then a "candyflip" with combination of an unidentified substance labeled as molly with an unidentified RC. After the flip I experienced a strange emptiness and just unnatural behavior for a week or two. I had a terrible comedown and it was not pleasant at all. I suspect that the "molly" was some combination containing meth, but not so sure about the tab. Anyway, I felt really not myself for probably two weeks and it has completely scared me away from Psychedelics. Is it possible to start having signs of HPPD with so little uses? Is it possible that this is all in my head? Was it just a bad combination of drugs that resulted in a little strangeness after? Any other perspectives would be nice, thanks.

Mmhmm. What the best feeling is after a night of psycs is a good bong hit and then you experience an afterglow effect and it's like the best ever. But I'll tweak out with or without the next day session and see weird stuff.

If you stare long enough at anything, even before using psychedelics, things start to go all wobbly until you can't even tell what it is. I used to do it loads as a kid.. and not much has changed really :p Reality is wonderfully sloppy, I wouldn't worry about it :2thumbsup:

If you're still feeling a bit "mah", then I'd take a break from everything for a while 'til you feel happy enough again.. weed especially tends to stir things up a bit.

That's true. It just seemed like I couldn't look at patterns without them moving and shifting. It was probably all in my head. Not sure. I'm taking a break from drugs in general so maybe I'll try again in a year or so.

I always have mild visual distortions, such as the swirling and breathing of objects and textures/surfaces, whether I've had a recent psychedelic experience or not. This only seems to go away when I eat some benzos.

Yes this has happened to me, and if I smoke weed it can intensify it. But I don't view it as a bad thing I actually enjoy it. After a few weeks it always goes away but for some people it is more permanent.

I hear music nonstop and see shadowy figures out of my peripherals frequently. I use to eat mushrooms 2-4 times a week for several years. Extremely heavy doses. The music started recently when i had one of those "abrahamic visions" on mushrooms.

Its actually very accommodating, such as if im trying to listen for something, the "volume" goes down. I dig it, as it is completely unheard of music, not songs or tunes stuck in my head. Im often reminded of a certain episode of family guy... if only everyone heard my theme music!

Thanks. It gives me a little more peace of mind. It was about 3-4 weeks for me. I'm all good now but I just worry that one day it'll stay. It's not like it's a big deal but it just makes me feel like I'm not normal or have ruined myself, but I think I just over-do it in my head.

You could become a musician and make it
