I received $$ for my bday a couple months ago and I still have it. It's not much ($100) but I"m trying to figure out what to do with it. AT first I was going to buy a secondhadn GPS handheld system so I could go geocaching, but since we're just startign to get cold here and I hate cold... seems like I wouldn't be able to use my gift until about April.

So then I thought I would try and pick up a cheap instrument. I played flute when I was younger, but my lungs aren't what they used to be and I used to get really light headed when I played back in teh day. So then I looked at kijiji ads and found keyboards listed at around $100 including the stand. So I think I'm gonna get that now. But I wrote the ppl that posted them, but no response, so I can only assume they are gone. I think I'll keep watching kijiji cuz at the music store they were over $225 at the cheapest.

I'm happy there is an offtopic thread so I could share. =)

There use to be someone on this board that was studying like homeopathic remedies or something and she use to argue with Pat all the time. I can't remember what her name was and I was wondering if anyone knew what her account name is, or if she even checks this place out anymore?

I have a question for her, unless someone else is well educated in natural remedies for toddler health?

Thanks! Now that I know someone who has children is on, did any of your children ever have early tooth decay/cavities when they were 2-4?

    No, neither did. :(

My youngest (almost three) has teeth that are a bit damaged from chewing on his blankie and for that reason there is always plaque on them that I scrape off with my finger (tooth brush won't work) but that's about it.

A friend of mine, her little girl had real bad tooth decay from drinking juice out of sippy cups. Her teeth turned almost black from it. I can give more info about it if you think it may help you.

Hmm. Just recently I removed what I thought was plaque from my son's teeth and underneath that white "plaque" was a slight discoloration along the top of the tooth. I am just wondering what can be done to prevent it from getting worse? I am taking him to the dentist but I want as much info as I can get to bring it up to the dentist.

that happened to my mate last week in his van.
and because van engines are under the seat he drenched the inside of the van with radiator fluid.
His chest got raped.... funny nevertheless

Lorne's teeth are kind of like that. The dentist has seen him and she wasn't concerned. I just keep scraping the plaque as it shows up. I don't understand how it can happen cuz we brush his teeth just the same as his bros, but it must be because he chews that damn blanky.
I think as long as you keep scraping the plaque that it wont' get worse.

Is it a yellowy colour? That's what Lorne's is like. (And we use an electric tooth brush too!!!)
