Help me understand because I thought humans were cell based. Are human cells made up of atoms? And if so, which ones exactly? Science can be confusing.
Only one element to the body and it is matter. The breath goes in and out'' and commands the elements of matter. This is the real chimera : "a thing of immortal make, not human, lion-fronted and snake behind, a goat in the middle,[3] and snorting out the breath of the terrible flame of bright fire".[4]
it roughly goes like this from smallest to largest; sub atomic particles make up the neutrons, protons and electrons that make an atom. the number of electrons, protons and neutrons determine what element an atom is. atoms of differing elements combined together make molecules differing combinations/arrangements of molecules make up everything, including human tissue cells
and I would venture a good guess that the human body contains a little of all the normally/naturally occurring elements of the periodic table
The most abundant in any living species is Carbon. Atoms combine to make molecules which combine together to make tissue which leads to organs then bodily systems and so on....simple basic chemistry/biology. We are alive, from atoms to organs each playing its own part in their and our existence.
You win a Kewpie doll. Atoms make up all matter....except maybe dark matter. Got any thoughts on that?
we're made of fields ... everything is made of fields. most common elements (atoms) in the human body would be oxygen, hydrogen, carbon and nitrogen not necessarily in that order.
human body is mostly water ... some 65% by weight. water is H2O so there is two hydrogens and only one oxygen atom per water molecule, BUT .. oxygen is a much heavier atom than hydrogen so I would say that oxygen makes up the largest percentage of the mass of the buman body.
By mass yes Oxygen by far is the most abundant. I was looking at more of the importance that carbon brings to our bodies, most proteins, fats and acids contain carbon and add the fact we exhale Carbon Dioxide which nature (most plant life) needs. So yes in abundance Ox has the upper hand but as importance i still side with carbon. Either way we need them both.
Electromagnetically charged plasmic ions left over from the big bang which have been easily confused with gravity, but actually is. TBH who really knows what DM is. It could be the collective one consciousness we are searching for, overlooking and supporting life in our own little atomistic reality. Atomistic- new word by me: To act like an atom in the way of bonding collectively with other like minded atoms to continually build our existence through procreation. disclaimer: all tongue in cheek...........or is it
