I want to know when the Golden Age of Aquarius is coming?

When we need no money and everything is peace and spaceships.

So, I'm thinking either California or Florida will sink into the ocean tomorrow.

    Call it a hunch.

Isn't it 10/7 somewhere right now?

I do not understand all the dynamics of that, but in dummy-language it comes down to something like this:

Investors are scared and they withdraw their money.
    Stocks go down.
More investors withdraw their money and before long we have a snowball effect.
Banks get in trouble, because they don't have the money to cover for such an enormous loss of money (mind you, money that does not even really exist, and this goes into the hundreds of billions!).
Governments have to pump billions of dollars into the economy to give the financial businesses a boost, so they won't go bankrupt.
Banks are basically the lifeblood of our society and it is really bad when a major bank goes bankrupt.
Interest goes up, many people can't afford to pay off their loans anymore.
That means many people go bankrupt and might even become homeless. This is already happening and it really wasn't necessary.
Banks should have been more careful with giving out mortgages and loans. And the individual persons are too blame too. They should get better informed. When interest is low, people see it as some sort of free candy store: jump in and eat as much as you can.
And then interest goes up and those people can't afford to pay off their mortgages and loans anymore.

Good thing is, technically the state can't go bankrupt, so it is actually a good thing when there is some money 'created' out of thin air. This can give the economy a boost and it might restore the faith of investors, so they pump money into the economy as well.

All the soapbubbles will have bursted by then and the economy will be healthier as before. Unless there are too many soapbubbles. In that case we are in for a long and bumpy ride.

I liked what it had to say at the end about us living our ideals and not feeling the idea of seperation.

I don't look for any solution outside myself though. People can have all the dreams they want. doesn't make them so;)

I was wondering while watching the second film....why someone would be so vocal on the screen. didn't catch his name...but the dude who was the intimidator. that just felt weird to me.

oh if it was only the banks.. thats just the tip of the iceberg and printing money only creates MORE problems,it will fix nothing..

Not printing money, just creating some more virtual money.
And ofcourse it is not just the banks, but banks are the lifeblood. It is the tip of the iceberg, but once that tip is falling, we roll down and taking all linked businesses too, from manufacturers to transporter and all in between and beyond. So it is vital to keep the banks healthy. Trust and faith is very important in this and the only way the government can demonstrate this trust is by giving the financial world a 'virtual' injection.

Hmmm, well I wouldn't be surprised. Jump out of one frying pan into another. Gotta keep our wits about us and not trust blindly, but then again it's good to keep an open mind and not get too cynical, eh?

yes i know its all virtual, thats part of the problem, but thats another post.

that doesnt change the fact that virtual money devalues the currency same as printed. at this stage in the game it will do more harm than good..

as far as saving the banks and everything will be fine..
no it wont.. there is no more viable collateral for loans.. so they re expected to give out loans for junk collateral? oh wait isnt that what caused this??
now all that junk collateral is floating around the stock markets bundled as hedge funds and sold over and over again to the highest bidders (all the while the banks have been taking it as higher worth collateral over and over)so it has become even more worthless than it was.. thus the trillions in discrepancies of true assets to paper assets..

its just not as simple as you are making it out to be..
