Yeah, I thought those shields were pretty cool. Except they need a better handle design. That makes it too easy to take the shield away from them.
A better handle design I'd like to suggest is the steering wheel of a dirt cheap and barely running ford Aerostar, like a 91' or something,,, more precicely a small fleet of the $400 family wagons off craigslist, Attach heavy wire mesh screens over ALL windows, secure the doors from inside, weld all but the rear door shut if need be, but make it so you aint' getting out till you're ready. Another idea would be to fill the tires with sand or epoxy to make it much more difficult to flatten them by normal means,,, And while your at it, be sure to find a 17 year old driver so his record will get expunged when he's 18. Besides, it's too cold to march, do it from the drivers seat with the heat cranked, 2 mph parade style, as wide across as there are lanes and a half block long if enough people can pull the stuff together. Maybe not an Oakland tactic because they'll just call in a freaking air strike from the looks of things, but I bet it could be effective in the right locations.
This could work here methinks based on the principle of "shock & awe". Officials wouldn't know how to respond, especially if coordinated (as I've said) in an Anonymous manner: emails quadruple encrypted {1. Using VPNs & secured email accounts to address ONLY 13 </=17 year old drivers 2. PGP encrypted emails to safe-mail, hushmail, etc. accounts designed for that one email then accounts destroyed upon receipt & materials copied 3. SEPARATE email accounts belonging to unaffiliated, unassociated protesters of the drivers, each containing PGP keys to open the then forwarded to the secondary junk addresses owned by the teenagers to be trashed after read (the encryptions each encrypting encrypted emails built at auto-destruct post-it sites active for 30 seconds only) 4. Most notably, everyone involved from the top down be unaware of other content and whose got it, thus hybridizing Anonymous, Occupy, & flash mob strategy all in one as I suggested before}! Heh, guess that's like five or six stems in my addition to this strategy

this isn't a protest anymore, its a riot. Which I would guess is exactly what the authorities wanted to happen. After all, people have a habit of rising to expectations. When they sent out policemen in full riot gear during a peaceful protest, what did they expect would happen?
Well dont forget the antagonistic plants put there by who knows to stir up nonsense that could otherwise be avoided. I could easily see Lawyers looking out their windows after having bribed some random dudes to go cause greif just so they could get things over with and back to buisness at hand,,, probably placing bets on which of the protestors will be able to handle the tear gas and which would collapse... Not an unheard of tactic used by CIA to stir up revolutionaries where they wanted major regime change,,,
There are so many countermeasures to their measures it aint funny,,, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcSd7hIDKYA"]Carbide Cannon from PVC - YouTube Aluminum fence paint would really mess up a microwave emitter panel I think?? Think foil in your Microwave at home and what happens...
And certainly not the Administrators of such hospitals,,, who should also in theory be behind such efforts as it would in the end open up more resources for reasearch to them when the money was back in circulation, as opposed to sitting under Mr. Romney's mattress.
True, but they may not and probably are not doctors, so never swore those oaths. Anyways..... Lets, not get too far off topic in this section of the forum.
Anyone else here from Oakland? I didn't make it yesterday since I was working but I was watching the live stream when I got off around 2:30AM and a woman had been hit with a baton and was screaming and had to go to the hospital... does anyone know what happened to her? Anyway, in other news, the news says this this morning: "Last weekend, more than 400 people were arrested after a violent Occupy Oakland demonstration in which marchers broke into City Hall, smashed display cases, cut electrical wires and burned an American flag. " Well, this is a blatant lie... the city hall thing happened after they had arrested and beaten 400 innocent (for the most part) people for marching peacefully through the street. And there were only a few that went to city hall and started smashing things. I was there that day but did not go to city hall, and no one I even talked to had been there and many think that it was a police plant that had the city hall idea. Anyway, I wish this was a more peaceful protest since it's clear that the police have unlimited power to do whatever they want to us with no consequences, and when we try to fight back, the media misconstrues everything that happened to turn more people against us. I did like the chant they were saying yestserday: "Fuck the police, No justice, No peace". However, I think if we want to get anything accomplished we need to be more peaceful or at the very least more organized.
