Sara lived through no government effort. Sebalius and oby succumb to pressure from FOX News. Silly libs. Back to your "mates". Perhaps the overseas "blokes" shilling for their europal oby could tell me how many people have enrolled. Seriously, I have not heard of one successful application being processed. Hell , even the software is inoperative. The only folks I have heard shilling for obyscare are misguided libs and eurotards. Once again to their dismay Sara Palin puts the pile of crap right under the nose of the homicidal secular left.
Would you like to answer the question? Here are a few things to think over (or completely ignore - your choice) http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...imbaugh-says-hhs-secretary-kathleen-sebelius/ If you are right, do you think it is fair that she jumped the Q TWICE (I think it was 5 other children and twenty adults) and it still was no guarantee she would live. I certainly don't. The parents claim they wanted all (children and adults) to have the same chances - but this girl became 'special', imho. Possibly upto 25 other families are sitting at home watching their loved ones wither away because of this decision. This is why I think it is fair to have a criteria. Are you an organ donor? Or isn't there much point re-using your organs? How would you prefer it to be? First come first served?
Obyscare is tuned to benefit insurance carriers . Obviously. oby makes purchasing their product mandatory through government edict. euros love edicts ; ever since the edict of Nance , they have been told by government how to react. It's cultural. oby is trying the same principle to benefit his cronies in the insurance business. I too sell a product, trust me , I would love a government edict forcing the public to puchase my product. Personally, privitization works for me. Oh, and yes I am an organ donor. As long as I can leave a directive as to whom receives mine. Again , we need to respect individual LIBERTY!!!! Such a strange concept to "mates" and "blokes".
enjoyed the episode. anyway http://i.huffpost.com/gen/270938/OBAMA-BIRTH-CERTIFICATE-LONG-FORM.jpg http://www.thepoliticalguide.com/Images/items/barackobama_birth6.jpg
I don't think that has anything to do with what I asked you. If you don't want to answer the couple of questions I asked, then just don't reply. I don't think I need to hear the same thing for the third time. 'How would you prefer it to be? First come first served?' So you want 'privatised' organ donations? How does that work? 'As long as I can leave a directive as to whom receives mine.' Well, that kinda attitude is probably why there is so many people waiting for a transplant, and why this young girl had to go through two major operations and be in the middle of all of this. I'm not really sure if you actually engaged in what I was saying - but I'm used to it by now.
Thanks, but... I've seen the long and short form of his birth certificate. Apparently there are different ones he has - ones with different names on them.
Correct. I have seen many birth certs connec ted with the keynesian kenyan or perhaps indonesian. To answer your question odum , No, the government does not thave the right to monitor transplants. Again , privatization. Just the mere fact of involving the gubmint has created a death panel.
Care to post an e.g? I wouldn't be surprised if people misread his fathers details and confuse it with his details. Barely answered my questions - you're typing like you are incapable of responding with any great detail. Sigh, I asked how would transplantation work if it was 'privatised'? How does it work if you have no criteria? Sigh, there isn't such a thing as a 'death panel,' as you know.
Complete BS. Death panels are alive and well just a by product of euro style big gubmint. eh mate? LOL. Good day , chap. Cheery o!!!! Ha. Go ask your royals to get you a check up from the neck up. Too funny.
RIPTIDE59 If you noticed I asked you how your system would work - 'privatised', no criteria etc. Are you basically saying that the only people that would receive a transplant would the ones paying hundreds of thousands of dollars and/or organs left in a will? Maybe a weekly lottery on Fox News! You haven't really explained how your system would work. I'm not actually talking about the current system (however you feel the need to interpret it).
well they don't, if one can afford to pay the cost themselves. how they fit in is, from what i've watched and personal conversations, insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies have been and are calling the shots these days. I.E. witness how quick the single payer idea was substituted for the mandatory insurance model. the employer-provided insurance tradition that started during WWII worked ok for awhile but by the 70's the damage was done. handing over the well being of american health to the insurance industry is akin to having Yogi Bear take care of pic a nic baskets. for profit insurance and hospitals eventually do what most capitalist businesses do, get greedy because there's never enough profit, never enough upward momentum pushing the stock value higher, and what gets compromised is the service. health care is not fast food or consumer electronics. if you leave it to "market forces", sooner or later human weaknesses come into play and next thing you know people are just units to process through the system. kinda like it is now.
Something Sarah Palin said.... I never bothered to figure out what something Sarah Palin said is or is supposed to be. She thinks she can see Russia from her home in Alaska, so, yea..
He also scammed how much from the USA with his hoax 'ozone layer'? Just like Osama and his 'global warming' scam to pick up the loose change Gore dropped while running away laughing. Funny thing, Proven the biggest scam, But they never went and got their money back! That's why Osama is pulling the same shit, Just more arrogant and a taste for drone killing blood.
The bottom line is...(the this is my reply to riptide on this issue as well).... The reason the girl was originally being denied a lung is simply because of child organ donation laws- children were typically kept on a separate organ donation list to receive organs from other children. The parents wanted to change that because their daughter would have died if she had to wait much longer for an organ, so they were willing to take a chance on an adult organ. So they took it to the mass media. And with the help of the media they got the law changed and the kid received the organ and survived. I have no clue what that would have to do with a death panel. It was about organ donation rules.... there for the reasons odon mentioned. There are rules in place for everything in life. And in that case, a family rallied the media to change the law to save their child and it worked.
I've sort of read how much transplantation's cost (hundreds of thousands of dollars - pre and post care included). But I'm unsure how this process works. It might even answer the questions I asked RIPTIDE59 (who clearly wasn't on this planet when responding ) Obviously liver transplants are going to be slightly different than lung transplants - given the lung donor is going to be dead.
I think R would like us to believe that there are people sitting in judgement of every single case - a 'panel' if you will. Rather than a quite cold system of viability, matching donors and prioritising people (the most urgent). He hasn't really explained his system other than 'privatisation,' and 'market forces' - which seems a little ridiculous. I would presume in this little girls case - she would not be having a transplant. But, that seems to fine and dandy in his world.
Yes, McDonald's and Walmart only want what's best for you, their employees, and the places they obtain their products.
