Obama is not going to be impeached. (although there has been cause to impeach him, as well as pretty much every other recent u.s. president)... it's not going to happen though.

In any case, a funny observation is that depending on who I am talking to on here I tend to come across as different things. With rj- I come across as some anti-liberal, conservative (hahaha)....and with you... I GUESS I come across as some Obama supporter. How can I be both?
In actuality, I am neither... I am just not insane and hateful. I don't see Obama is any different than any other puppet of the system.

Thanks for asking. Seriously. Personally, this is were the massive moral responsibility to humanity is ignored by gubmint managed health care. Even privatized insurance has their limits. As we know some folks just live too long. My mother lived to 92. Her last years were horrible. Spending time on a morphine machine to the tune of $12k/mo. I kept her alive ; as were her wishes. oby will not do this. The gubmint will only have so much patience with the sick. There will be a time when care ends. This will not be the choice of you or your family. This will be the choice of Helen Sebalius and her "joint" committee. Recently, an 11 yr old little girl needed a lung. oby regulations imply a group of "experts" to review. She was denied due to her age. Euros have been using the tot boat for years. The terminally ill of Nederland and Germany are taken out to the North Sea and dumped. The system does not feel these people are worth caring for. In the true euro tradition of regulation. Is this moral? Will oby care support the termially ill? Elderly? Mentally impaired? What are the chances of the government giveing a single white male the same chances at life as a more "favored" social segment. Simply put he/she whom controls the nation's health ; controls the nation. Very damn scary.

I'm not sure how transplants work in the US - but here you get put on a 'register' and when there is a match you get the operation.

Don't you have to pay for a transplant? something like $577,100 on a 'new' liver.

You already pay for other peoples healthcare.
Then you have to pay again for your own.
I was bragging how simple it is here...
If you prefer the illusion that it's all in your own hands, and you would prefer to spend thousands upon thousands of dollars, and have to worry about 'pre-existing conditions' blah blah blah etc etc - that's totally cool.

I know that this is pretty much all it boils down to.

Unfortunately not everybody can afford to look after themselves, and their family. And at 12k a month I'd wonder how long you could have afforded to look after your mother. All you are really doing is giving people money for treatment/care... and in a round about way that is all I am doing, too.
Just not so much and not really for profit.

The fact that he even mentions death panels, implies he did not read the links I provided from factcheck.org, and/or politifact.com which specifically details why "death panels" don't exist in Obamacare.
