Obama works out

My respect for Obama has increased tenfold after watching his workout video. It proved to me that a man with sub-par musculature such as myself can be elected into the highest office in the land. He may have a weak, narrow frame but his iron will and determination more than compensates. Well done sir.

Why is this story even news? What is wrong with people that they would make fun of Obama for his work out? Maybe there are things to degrade him for, but this isn't one of them. When people don't like someone, they'll do anything they can to push that person below them.

 

Anyways...about Obama and the workout pics. Yea they are kinda funny.

But really, when I saw this on the news all I could think of was "who cares?"

And really, at least he's trying, right? And also I'm sure there are plenty of past presidents who didn't even try, so.... shrugs.

I have trouble believing that it is Obama. The picture quality sucks. There is an Obama look-a-like in a emedium sized city 20 minutes away from where I live (he could be in that video for all i know). I can't believe the secret service would not search everything and everyone that went in a room before, during and after the president occupied it.

 

Exactly that was pressed rat before he got his shit together and started dieting and exercising

Even 8 lbs can be heavy if you do enough reps. Im not saying hes hulk hogan but theres not enough information to say hes a huge wimp. I mean what if it was more a cardio workout and he did that for a couple minutes straight or something? I dont deny that appears to be a pretty light weight for the back flies hes doin but the clip really could be taken out of context too

 

I wish I could be paid mass amounts of money to partake in exercise in my own private gym.
Yeah good on him, no really.. good on him. Show us how you do it Mr. President, without paying the ridiculous gym fees from the ridiculously low weekly income.

Unless American gyms are cheap? Then I'll shut up.

Because the off-year elections are in November, and the campaign has already begun.

While Obama isn't running for office again, he will be a core issue in a lot of campaigns. Voters in the 8th congressional district of Butt-Fuck Egypt will know little and care less about either the Democratic or Republican candidates. They will likely have an opinion about Obama, however. The Republican from BFE will try to tie his/her opponent to Obama if he is unpopular. The Democrat will try to ride Obama's coattails if he is popular, and maybe get a mid-campaign visit from him if the race is close.

There was a video on the youtube front page showing Obama going for a walk near the whitehouse, shaking hands with people and giving out m&m's to kids.

Did he do this because he felt like it? Probably not. Taking a walk like that would require extensive security planning and lots of secret service agents.

So my conclusion is that the campaign is on, and Obama wants to boost his numbers to help democrats, just as republicans want to tear him down.

 

Exactly, plus he could have fucked up shoulders and is just doing an injury prevention/ rehabilitation routine.
