Not quite what I meant. Are you advocating the U.S gives all the surplus to the Syrian rebels - even considering the logistical considerations. I thought you were opposed to arming the rebels - obviously not.
No, I'm not for arming the rebels, or for any war. I just find it moronic that my government would destroy $7 billion worth of war machine, and then turn around and give the rebels more war machine, which will cost us taxpayers even more money. Instead of "in God we trust" on our money, it should read, "bend over and crack a smile". But of course, in America God is money.
Your government has not destroyed $7 billion worth of equipment. If you look at the thread you started it is unclear what they are actually going to do with it all. Already $11 million has been 'retrieved' in a month - which does not seem like anywhere near the amount likely to be sent to Syria.
^yep. today's good guys are tomorrow's terrorists: Private industry is about profit, profit, profit$ not justice or liberty or patriotism.
I completely agree with with Ray's postulation. The flim Zardoz (1974) is an allegory & symbolic narrative on this very phenomenon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbGVIdA3dx0"]Trailer for Zardoz (1974) - YouTube **** I believe that Russia and surprisingly China, have adopted a very mature and grown up stance in regards to the Syrian crises, which is more than I can say for the Anglo-American empire.
We do know that one half of OUR federal tax dollar goes over seas in one way or another. Why? We also know that barry hussain likes to set up muslim dictatorships with our $ ; much like eygypped. Time for a regime change in dc?
You're silly. There's a reason why none of our current military interventions are called "wars".... because they're not wars. They're illegal and unconstitutional occupations!
^ yes but elected representatives don't represent the best interest of the nation; they're internationalists who represent the best interest of the multi-national corporation and themselves personally.
I also want to say (for anyone who think it may be a good idea to arm Syria) The biggest fighting group in Syria, is affiliated with Al Qaeda

I know that's true. Our government is a Crime monopoly, in which some of the most corrupt people can use whatever violent means they'd like, to increase their profit. That's why Liberals who demand "More taxes" and "More Government," really worry me. The government (Like the EPA, FDA etc) is one huge business; Created specifically to give certain corperations special benefits, while putting their competitors out of business. (Even keeping smaller businesses down.) If you don't believe me, take for example how the CEO of Monsanto also was the President of the "Food and drug administration" which is supposed to "protect" us from dangerous foods. Sadly, it's like I said; a corrupt business. At face value, it appears the government has the consent of the governed. However, in my opinion, if the people knew what they have done, and do on a daily basis, everyone except communist would lose faith immediately!
They're not driven by a sense of fairness. The personal profit of its investors is all that matters to the corporations that rule over us.
