He gets to drive a broken country for 4 more years.

While Obama might play with the wheel and mouth broom broom I think Romney would have gotten out and pushed it off a cliff.

    4 more years equates to
    $17,000,000,000,000
    $18,000,000,000,000
    $19,000,000,000,000
    $20,000,000,000,000
    or probably more, and counting.

Try being Canadian. We're right next door and we're totally ignored. Even when we're helping.

and you will never regret it, but make sure you have a good travel insurance policy when you arrive, because although we have a wonderful medicare (tax payer funded) system in place, and a government subsidized pharmaceutical scheme for all australians, it doesnt cover visitors from overseas, so travel insurance is a must.

yes i think everyone knows how it is between america and canada, we hear stories all the time over here in australia.

its ironic that canada and cuba actually allow americans to go to their countries and get free/cheap medical treatment in clinics and hospital, and get cheap pharmaceutical products, then return to america without batting an eyelid, something that i was recently made aware of after watching all of michael moore's documentary movies exposing the american government for what it really is.

i have an american sister in law (from burlington) who now lives in australia with my brother and their 2 kids, and as much as she hates being away from her family, she reckons there is no way she will ever return to america, because we get it so good here in australia, and yet we have still got such a wonderful economy that puts nearly every other country to shame, especially the horribly ailing american economy.

i have been to canada 2 times for 6 week camping tours from one side to the other, and planning another tour in 2 years time, because i love it so much.

Looks like Michael Moore is in dire need of some Michelle Obama's dietary advice. I guess he could pose as a Fat Cat poster boy.

so what, your another american who doesnt like the rest of the world being exposed to the real goings on in america ???

at least michael moore has the guts to go out and film the shit that does goes on, and you can sit on your ass and keep pretending all the stuff he does expose doesnt really happen.

if any of you people ever have the opportunity to live in a wonderful place like australia or canada, you just might realize just how bad you guys are being screwed over.

Michael Moore makes up the stuff that goes on in his films. He trickily edits together/apart footage, uses made up figures and facts, and combines statistics that don't fit together in any sense or form.

He's as bad as FoxNews, just playing around with the opposite end's politics.

Agree about Canada being a generally better country though; not so sure about Australia, but I'm not familiar with the politics of your country, aside from the controversy with the aborigines.

i think what you said about michael more is a cop out, and i know better than to believe what you say about him, i know the real truth when i see it, because michael is more than backed up by other sources.

as for australia, its one of the best countries on this planet to live in, but as for any controversy about our aboriginies, there is none, because the world only hears one side of the fucked up stories that aboriginals and the doo gooder media put out there for everyone to see, if you knew the real truth about it, you people just might get a shock at just how these people live, and treat white australians.

Duck is pretty much bang on. Micheal Moore is titillating leftist indulgence. And because I'm pretty left, I enjoy him. But in no way are his doc's credible.

Well, don't take it personally, we're pretty much insulated from any real international news (at least via mass media outlets) anywhere in the world, unless of course it serves to make another nation seem ridiculous (like that clip of your PM tripping and falling - the associated press covered that well.) Yes, unfortunately, I am being serious. We're basically taught from birth to view the United States as the center of the universe and that should be obvious from our approach to foreign policy.

We do have PBS, and that is a flicker of light in an otherwise dark vacuum of pundits and propaganda, but the american right has been on a mission to do away with it since it's inception, and even PBS is becoming suspect in my opinion, as I see and alarming increase in the muscle flexing of corporate sponsors, who are taking an ever increasing interest in the actual content of the limited, but relatively unbiased news PBS has historically provided.

Suffice it to say, it's good thing we still have the internet.

Save for the southern ozone depletion area.

The tazzies didn't bother to consider their shocking way of life. They just walked across the island and killed them all, so a tazzie told me.
