The money you pay in the Federal income tax goes to the PRIVATE Federal Reserve to pay off the interest on the country's debt.

And I'm not asking for handouts. I'm simply saying that with a little compassion from society, hard working people have a shot to improve their lot in life. In return, they can be compelled through reasonable taxation to offer the same oppurtunities to others.

i'm talking about tax on gasoline, not income tax, and yes, some it does go toward this... not to mention it will cause an increase in the need for alternate energy. id rather the gov't have the money than big corporations.

lode... i agree with the gradual increase... i also think it should cap around $10-$15/gallon or the prices will get astronomical. i'm not saying people don't need to travel... i'm just saying they don't need to travel around in hummers and pickups.

well, i agree.. it's a good image to present to the world. but i don't think he sees himself as a god - he sees himself as a brilliant politician who truly has good intentions for our country (and the world) as a whole... something the whitehouse has been lacking for about 8 years now.

 

Compassion is the very reason society exists. We exist in societies to take care of each other, and that's why wonderful things like the internet, which is free for me right here, exist.

Plus civilized girl are way hotter than feral girls.

We owe society for looking after our welfare. That welfare is compassion. The way we repay that is by accepting the face that we have taxes for schools and have to drive the speed limit and such.

'Colored' is extremely offensive because it was used at the time as a nicer way of saying the N word. It's almost as bad in the US.

And in the US, he is black. His skin is dark, and he has African ancestors, so he's black. If he had white skin and african ancestors, he'd be white. A white African.
