i test drove the focus and the salesman was telling me how it used a new system for steering, i forget how it was different than the traditional setup. either way it steered like shit, way too much play in the wheel for my liking.

was just thinking about a conversation i had with my mom last week, it was after driving 5 hours to nj then an hour to my aunts house then an hour train ride to ny to see a baseball game. you get the picture it was a long day.
met up with my mom the next day and she asks if i got into a fight, i said no, she said you have a black eye. i look in the mirror and sure enough i have bags under my eyes i mean i havent slept much. i tell her its from only having 4 hours of sleep. she says (like she has a million times before) "well whos fault is that?"
well mom why does someone have to be at fault? she says it like someone needs to be blamed for this outrage. someone must be at fault because i wanted to see a baseball game!!! i never even complained about lack of sleep but my mom will bring it up and try to make me feel guilty about it. maybe if i was never born i wouldnt want to see a baseball game so for that reason mom it is your fault!! i feel better now. yup its all my moms fault and i can be at peace with the fact that i now know it was not my fault.

Whoops just clipped my pavers in my driveway. Instant flat tyre. Big hole in it. So I'm out on the ground and changing a tyre. :) probably wouldn't have happened in a ranger. :D

I'm up 2/3 games this afternoon one remaining. Our team should win my win gave us a draw so unless we all lose last round we'll draw. One of my team mates says he wants me to be his doubles partner in the doubles trials so that's really good. I was thinking maybe hopefully someone would ask me and he says I pot better than him so hopefully we'll do decent in a couple weeks when we are up. :)

We won. 18-6. I got 2/2. On my last game was a bit disappointing I made a great straight shot into bottom right corner pocket, had half the venue applauding then I left myself a relatively easy straight shot but there was an opponent ball few inches away. If I played the shot normally and cued centre then I'd have snookered myself on the 8. So I thought, I have to play either draw or follow. A stun/draw set the 8 ball perfectly but a follow would leave a harder angle. I opted to draw the ball back and I got the draw right, I set the 8 up perfectly but I never sunk my red and since I had to hit it as hard as I did to get the backspin, it spat out of the pocket in a bad location.

Happy the team won though and everyone really happy down there. :) was a good outing. :D

i saw a prize on a gameshow that was for a stay in Newport News. people around here wouldnt go to Newport News for any reason. people that live in Newport News do anything to get out of there. thats like winning a trip to NYC and the hotel is in Spanish Harlem. thats like winning a trip to the Caribbean but the hotel is in Haiti. thats like winning a trip to LA and the hotel is in Compton. thats like winning a trip to Canada but the hotel is in Winnipeg.
Well its not exactly like all those examples, because all those examples actually have something worth visiting in their city....at least more so than Newport News.

NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) — Atlanta area police say a man appears to have died of natural causes while unloading marijuana from a van.
Gwinnett County police said in a statement that officers on Monday responded to a call of a man slumped near a van and a tractor trailer.
Officers found 31-year-old Johnny Taylor of Bridgeport, Connecticut, dead and kneeling on the ground with his head on the step of the van's side door. Police say his body showed no signs of trauma and that it appears he died of natural causes.

Police say that once Taylor's body was removed, officers found bags of marijuana inside a box in the van and saw similar boxes in the truck.
Officers got a warrant and seized several hundred pounds of marijuana with a street value of about $12 million. http://bigstory.ap.org/article/bf6bf08e46a24f85b1f5aa0490429389/police-man-died-while-unloading-12-million-marijuana
