O Brother Where Chat Thou?

Didn't think this through. I left shoes in the bathroom so I have something to wear to the car....problem is the second set of shoes I wore back to my car so I could grab a quick beer [no beer on beach] so now I either have to run back and forth across the hot pavement or go barefoot back to the beach and burn my feet. Oooooor get sand everywhere, which is the whole reason of leaving shoes just outside of the beach.
Gonna go with one hot trip across the pavement barefoot.
Sitting in the car listening to the radio and I am sweating like crazy. Gotta hurry up and finish this beer and go for a swim.
Edit: I have to start the car to put on the ac and I don't want to waste the gas.

 

the water is so dirty at the beach they have showers there?...that seems weird

 

I think the shower are used to wash away salt water.

holy shit sandwich. i was looking at the very extended forecast (and i realize the further out it is the less accurate, but still) and according to it we will be above 90 basically for all of the next 90 days. i think there are a couple of high 80's and then end of august/ early september it will cool down into regular 80's.

im melting. thank goodness its not a humid state.

 

Banks come back with a need another statement so could be two months now before I can look for my ranger again. That really pisses me off tbh. Basically my initial bank statement doesn't look good because the balance was over due to bank fees. So they want few statements and that first statement looks bad. I tell them but that's only overdrawn because of your bank fees that I've had to pay to open the account. It's not on me, that's on you. Everything else is perfectly fine how can someone who has a clean record of everything and already owns so much I don't even need the stupid loan, how can I get denied based on a few dollars overdrawn on a statement I really had nothing to do with? Some random excuse I think I was too furious to really appreciate. End result. Wait two months for the next statement and then it's fixed.

I'm just very... When I want something I want it now. Not a week later, especially not two months down the road.

I'm now so angry I think I've lost interest in it all. And I feel like switching banks just so when they ask why I can say because you don't look after the people you don't need to worry about. Grr.

 

Lol my partner has worked out this perfect scenario where we could get the Ranger basically for free but we count on my daddy dying in 25 years. lol. How bad is that? And I could buy the bloody thing outright if I needed to lol. Basically we put it against my mortgage in Germany. "if he dies in 25 years the collateral you'll get from him will easily cover the repayments of the loan, question is, do you want to live now, or in 20 years?"

I really don't understand it all. Lol. I'm not good with figures. Just tell
me if I can buy a truck and how much I can spend. that's how I do it. That's what I'd do too but nope, can't do that here. Have to be careful how you do things like this so I leave it all to my partner. She says don't be too disheartened we wouldn't probably have the truck by the time we have to wait for a new statement if we could have gone looking to buy it right now.

So just a little over a month and then I can seriously make an offer. But I'm sold on the ranger. Everything I read is good news. At least here anyway is a good 4x4. my gf says I need to learn to be patient and I don't get everything I want straight away. I told her that's the way I am and that's what she fell in love with it so suck it! buy me a truck, bitch! don't blame me, it's the bipolar disorder making me do it. >.> the link between bipolar and spending money is worth a read. :d

ive never been a fan of fords...or mazdas...they dont last long here with the road salt and you cant fit a 4 wheeler in them

 

just put my truck out in the middle of the road....have transport drivers whizzing by at a hundred k......so now they can slow down or hit my truck....fuckers are crane guys working on a turbine......

if i was buying a truck i think i would lean towards a dodge ram.
speaking of the finance part though, when i was buying my cruz the salesman says "is there any way you can say you make $400 more?"
i said im not going to lie about how much i make...
he says " no i dont mean that i mean do you have any other sources of income."
i was a bit taken back but i finished that part of the conversation with "if i made an extra $400 a month i would be getting a corvette and not a cruz."

 

They had a Mazda version of the Ranger since the 80's I think. My Ranger works for what I need. Road salt destroys any car if you don't wash it here. True I can't tow or haul anything too serious but I don't have a boat or anything big. But it's small and agile which helps when I have to drive down dirt roads that are never plowed. It's had some troubles at times but less then a GM I think but I admit I am a Ford fanboy. Maybe one day I'll upgrade to a F-150 or Toyota Tacoma.

The Rangers in Europe are meant to be the better ones. So I've read and compared anyway. meant to hold over a ton in the tray and can tow 3 tonne which is oh so important for me. lol. NOT! My truck will be just used for throwing the dog in the back, swags and eski in the cabin and it can go around a dirt bumpy road and through puddles. That's all I need it for and top end ranger probably overkill, but if you're spending the money you may as well buy something that can take it all rather than something similar and cheaper that can't. That's my logic anyway. For now. 20/6/2016.

And yes Glen I have the money in the bank to buy it but I don't "work" for a "living" so the bank will look at me and say well how can you afford this? Oh you have money? Here, have some taxes on top of that new car. It's a bit different in Europe hehe. And basically, I don't want to get taxed or questioned. Because if they find out I earn money from properties located in other countries, well then that's more taxes. Lol. So we've always kept hush hush. All the bank can see is that I'm earning small amounts coming in, which is true because I leave the real prize in a bank accumulating interest. It's just easier to only let the bank know what you need them to know and they don't need to know about other things.

So I'll take the "loan" out, then when I get to that three, four years and then you pay interest well I'd just pay it all off to stop that so I don't pay more. But then I have a legit vehicle that the bank can't say "hey, she can make money from this" which can and could happen where I live. They'd probably class a 4x4 as a farming vehicle thanks to my families properties. That could be more taxes!

Don't worry I think I know what I'm doing. Not really but the missus does. she does all the money stuff and then tells me what's happening and what I can do. She's good with finance, me not so much. I'm good at spending the finance.
