We had an early pool match today and our team didn't do very well we got thrashed really but everybody won a game except me. A big fat 0-4. 3 of our team didn't show up too so we were down 0-4 from the start.

But it's really hard for me to be upset with myself. I mean I played great. The opponents were last place 1st div so they fall to 2nds. So they're much more talented. And they were. And I was in all my games. I snookered well, I was very smart, I just seem to corner myself before being able to snooker. Jaszon on my team says I was playing great but leaving my snooker maybe 1-2 shots too late. I'm leaving too much of a table. And then on my last game against the best person I had a valid shot when I seen he got complacent with me. Knocked down 5 balls and had a chance on my last to set myself up. Set the 8 up but missed the shot by few mm.

Anyway. Lots of positives to take from this.

Anyway we are off to Switzerland alps for couple of days. it's snowing and we can't wait to cabin.

weather is great here ...i wish i had a cottage to go spend time at instead of working in this heat

 

planted some sprouted potatoes yesterday. its fucking hot today, supposed to be hot and dry all week. need to separate my squashes, they are the happiest plants in my yard. thank goodness they grow so well. but i have to wait until it cools down to get anything done out there, and the mosquitos are killer. havent seen any bats yet, they are slacking. we have been going outside after dark with the flashlight to water by hand and get stuff done. we probably look ridiculous, but i dont really give a fuck. if i could get to bed earlier maybe i could use the morning cool as well, but i never can seem to get to bed at a reasonable time.

 

i put cherry whiskey in my moscato. its a whiskato. its a mosckey.

its alcohol, and the baby is napping. go me. making baby snackie puffs. (frozen cream of wheat, plus fruit this time! my freezer dries it the hell out too, so its a lot like one of the store bough types, sort of melts away back into cream of wheat when you eat them)

need more foods for this growing boy. most of the time if he is fussing, hes just hungry. hubby hates making him a bottle every time, so he needs more "food" items to give him.

Went driving around. The only thing I scored was cheap gas and some doggy treats because I feel bad for my mom's dog...she barely feeds her or gives her water because she is afraid she will pee in my car. With good reason, that bitch is thrown out if she pees in my car. I just don't understand why she doesn't feed her normal and then stop an extra time or two to let her walk around.

 

I don't feed or give my dog water if we are road tripping. He's always been used to vehicles, but I'm not dealing with throw up. =|

 

went to the tool store tonight and recognized a truck in the parking lot...this goof always talks bullshit about cars and fixing shit...his tires are so bald i bet his balljoints are barely holding on..biggest piece of shit cherokkee jeep garbage around

managed to get in and out of there with what i wanted without him noticing

my frame on the truck is welded with quarter inch diamond plate.....he also found another spot and did that for me too.....I also had my front shocks put in this morning and a fresh oil change.....tomorrow I go look at tires at a buds place........fingers crossed....then ball joints........after ball joints I am removing the box for some proper reinforcing brcause the the shitty thin cross members holding up the tray[ ] are all rotting bigtime....I will use proper box steel to replace them.while the box is off it is being painted

 

Because we drove Switzerland straight from pool comp I have my cue so did so drills tonight by myself on a table I found in the bar room nobody was using. that's my goal now, drills. I find I come too complacent myself trying to hit balls around at home. I get bored, rushed and I don't take the time to really concentrate. And every time something works for me, it's just a bit of knowledge i had already come across that I kinda just sweep away and forget. And every damn time I go back to basics it works for me. So that's that. I'm going to drill myself to death and possibly boredom until I can train my brain to train me to strike that cue the same, every. Single. Time.

I read that once you are in a habit of like let's say, when you step off and you step with your right foot. Or okay, sprinting for example be a bit better. It can take up to "1 million tries" of stepping off on the left foot for your brain to make that connection and for you to step of left foot by a natures habit. So I've got 1 million balls to knock into a pocket with a steady, slow draw back, a pause, a start slow and increase thrust forward and my 2-3" follow through. One million times.
