O Brother Where Chat Thou?

I like the cold coffee energy drinks but can't stand the taste of any of the other energy drinks. Coffee is my choice for energy. and oh yeah - and firecrackers give me pep.

For the past several months I've drank nothing but water (except for coffee in the mornings). I bought a coke at work last week, took a couple sips and it tasted so nasty I just couldn't finish it.

 

Water is just too boring for me. I have a soda stream so I'll load water full of fizzy. I like it because you can add your own flavors which make it much better. Like instead of 5kg sugar, just throw a icypole syrup into it and there you go. Flavored water.

 

I don't drink coffee either. I'm not in love with the taste of it and I don't find caffeine actually affects me much.

 

I've been saying that for years now too and I've only ever felt the effects of caffeine maybe 3-4 times. Once because I took a furnace of coffee to work and then decided to drink it all at once. Another time my first real coffee I remember kept me up and no sleep and then I had two energy drinks once and made feel sick and jittery. But that's it. I'm taking to coffee more and more these days but not for the energy hit or anything, I quite like the smell and the taste of certain beans nowadays. I'll even have decaf just to smell it.

 

Without coffee I can't get my morning business done.

 

i like my coffee with too much sugar, so i limit it to one cup a day. i like tea, herbal and black, hot as well as cold. i dont use energy drinks, i find them really gross.

i started some more seeds today. yay spring.

 

I have coffee when I wake up in the middle of night....like right now....i'm back sleeping before it hits me although today I must catch the 545 am ferry so I might just stay awake

 

I've been giving my jerky to some friends. They all enjoy. Nice and tough. I say "here, have a fucken piece of leather boot, start chewing on that boot!" and my miss laughs. because that's how I remember it being described to me by daddy. "Like chewing on an old pair of work boots".

 

I live on green tea and vitamin water. Both of them still have lots of sugar but I can say to myself "this is healthy it's not soda".

I love jerky! I've tried making it a few times in my dad's smoker, but it never got quite dry enough. My boyfriend describes jerky as "meat someone lost in the couch for a year" though.

 

local news tards are now on the BHO explosions bandwagon. been a slow week here with gangbangers killing each other must open another fear factory door.

 

It's not legal here to manufacture BHO without a license. It once was and of course many growers still do it and take "donations" for it. But all these idiots gave it a bad name.

 

I recently met a dude who was all fucked up from a bho boom......stupid ass was doing it in his grow room....he was sitting with it in front of him on the floor.....all his lower legs peeled 3rd degree burns......now he never stops complaining or talking about it.....

i love cutting a piece of meat just right. its such an important part of preparing a meal. hubby didnt like steak most of his life, because in combination with his family overcooking it, they never sliced it properly. i still give him the most cooked pieces, because the pink weirds him out, but i cut it so its not like chewing leather. i like mine rare/ medium rare. my dad makes a killer ribeye roast. ::drools:: cant afford that right now.

what a shitty rainy day. 4 rabbits in my yard this morning, but they seem to be leaving my bean plants alone. most of the other houses have grass. they do like the weeds and grasses that come up in my woodchips though. we have a fair amount of yarrow growing, and a wormwood. and a lot of the things im planning to plant can be done densely, so at least some should survive. but theres still much to get done out there. and i need more edging rocks. ive harvest almost all of the ones from the backyard, now im going to have to find more. maybe drive up into the mountains and hit some of the waste rock piles. really dont want to put the car through that though... i dunno.
