this hit me hard today....dude grew up right here in Kingston....the road in front of the big auditorium is called 'tragically hip way''

    on the bands website today

Hello friends. We have some very tough news to share with you today, and we wish it wasn’t so. A few months ago, in December, Gord Downie was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Since then, obviously, he’s endured a lot of difficult times, and he has been fighting hard. In privacy along with his family, and through all of this, we’ve been standing by him. So after 30-some years together as The Tragically Hip, thousands of shows, and hundreds of tours… We’ve decided to do another one. This feels like the right thing to do now, for Gord, and for all of us. What we in The Hip receive, each time we play together, is a connection; with each other; with music and it’s magic; and during the shows, a special connection with all of you, our incredible fans. So, we’re going to dig deep, and try to make this our best tour yet. We hope you can come out and join us this summer – details and dates will be coming this week. And we sincerely thank all of you, for your continued love and support, Paul, GordD, Johnny, Rob, GordS - See more at: http://www.thehip.com/#sthash.jbSyWRHG.dpuf

It is only mid twenties here. And lots of rain. So, that means indoors time. :) I've been chatting to some random people in a chat room lol all afternoon. Then I got some sleep and now I'm wide awake again.

I just got a email saying try this new dog food with a 20% off voucher, 2kg bag for only 23€. Fucken what! I buy 20kg for like 70€. Well I'm not buying that one. That's for sure.

part i ordered to fix an expensive tool fit just perfect

2 years ago some bitch at the place (in illinois) says "we dont service that model its obsolete" and no parts available....(company was bought out)......so i keep seeing same identical looking tool with new company name so this time i ask for parts breakdown on new model and yep everything looks the same so i pretend i have the new one and order the part and its an exact replacement except made even better than the original (instead of a sleeve pinched between o-rings the sleeve is now 1 piece and has larger ends to fit the grooves instead of o-rings)

dude answered the phone instead of the bitch...maybe that made a difference

anyway long story short ive been waiting 3 years and it cost me $100 extra to use this damn thing that was purchased from a fire department in "excellent working condition"

You guys sure do fix a lot of things. If I didn't know any better I'd assume everything is broke, cause y'all fixing it!

My car was making a strange noise yesterday when I turned it off. It sounded like a belt slipping. I hope it's okay. =[

I think we have one of the more expensive foods. Lamb and rice. :)
But it's what our breeder had him on and we never switched. We've never had a problem with it. I'm not convinced that cheaper kibble is any worse though, all looks the same to me and I don't rely on kibble as a sole source so I could go cheaper and then make my own rice for him and leftovers etc. and should still be good. :)

fixing things is all im good at

noises after shutting car off is usually a bad bearing in the alternator if yours has an over running clutch pulley

also i get people asking all the time about hissing noise but that is normal a/c is just equalizing between high and low side after shutdown and hiss is normal

on the news a few days ago i saw something about a snowstorm in colorado...i think edmonton canada had one too but im not sure

And funny you say that because I turned it on yesterday it was cold. I reversed. Turned it off because I needed the keys. Then it was really hard to start... Then it kicked over after I had the key turned a fair bit. So alternator... Hmm.
