it is unlikely. this will never catch on. it is simply more valuable as a cooking spice than a drug. i've tried it out of curiosity once using the nut and once using nutmeg essential oil, at 1 whole mil of oil orally, which would equate to a lot of nutmeg powder mind you, considering the nut contains only <5% oil fraction. it was basically just sedating and groggy, not enjoyable by any measure. perhaps some slight visual disturbances in the peripheral vision when turning the head. some body feeling slightly reminisant to a roll but about 20x weaker. nearly not even noticable compared to a real roll. this will remain legal and an "alternative" to those inclined for several days of drowsyiness (myristicin has a 72hr halflife) and some real liver turmoil to boot for a shitty half-high that wouldn't warrant repeat in those clinically sane. i noticed also that over the following 3 days my sweat and skin stunk of nutmeg.
Shouldn't probably make absolute statements. I hate the stuff but mostly cause of the taste - but I had a decent high. Did you read about the guy who wound up in the er asking if he was dilusional? Different strokes for different folks. Best buzz I ever got was off a super dose of penicillin - Dr. said I was comotose but I remember it as being in such a sweet place I never wanted to come back. It does it for some - not for others.
hmm a decent high in comparison to?? different strokes for different folks i agree. one thing it will most defintely do for everyone who consumes it, is continue to be the potent carcinogen it is. don't take my word for it look up myristicin, elemicin and safrole.
