LOL about reading while nursing! I do it too and both of my kids hate it! Same with the phone - when Danny sees me go near the phone or hears it ring, he runs to the fridge and opens it, or gets a stool and plays in the sink, watching me the whole time - as if to say "I'm going to be naughty if you don't get off the phone!"
