Nugs vs Finely chopped

which do you prefer? for a bowl, not a joint.... cuz it's obvious for a joint...
So which do you choose? I love the big nugs....
alright since I can't figure out the poll thing..... if thers is a poll ignore it unless these options are as follows:
Big Chunk
smaller nugs
some nugs and some chopped
all chopped

me too... I don't know why though....but yeah, if you want to voters, post WHY as well.

 

for a bowl, it has to be one big nug. might be getting some tonight...dunno yet

 

i break it up for a bowl. not as much as i would for a joint though. i just rip the nug a couple times. more surface area.

 

I gotta go with just throwin' a big nug in the bowl.. it's quick and easy.

 

It's nice having big nugs in your nug box, but for smoking bowls the way has to be finely chopped or broken up. You can load a lot bigger bowls and they burn a whole lot better.

 

yeah, if you chop it up first it burns better, lasts longer, and you get better hits. in a bong a big bud is nice. sigh,,, i havent smoked from a big bong in way too long.

 

Damn, my friend is giving me his two two-foot bongs and his three foot hookah (all glass) for free. Chopped bud is so nice in the bong. Just light, ripppppppp, and you're baked!!

 

I like one big nugget for a few reasons:

1. It burns slowly, as opposed to finely chopped bud, which burns alot more quickly.
2. It's alot less work (take bud, place in bowl)
3. If I happen to drop the bowl (Happens quite often) I can just pick up the big nug and keep smokin'. Try picking up a zillion little pieces of burning bud.

 

It's nice when it burns slowly, but it's annoying sitting there trying to take a big hit. Long bowls can be annoying.

 

I like finally chopped becuase I get nuch more intenste hits and can go through the bowl faster, which is sometimes importent. Bong hits are much better finally chopped too.

 

while we're talking about bongs, my girlfriend has her roomates bong for the whole summer. we've been using that a lot lately. it's such a nice bong. she traded a chillum for it (only for the summer).

 

I definately prefer throwing a fat dank nugget into the bowl. Its the only way to go.

 

i'm surprised that most people just put a big nug in the bowl. i've never seen anyone do that. everyone i know breaks it up first.

 

yeah gotta love the big nug. but i always break it up too. lights easier, bigger hits.

 

Actually I find that when the nugs are finely chopped they seem to burn faster..

And yeah, if it's in a bong it needs to be broken up IMO..

 

Man I love the look of a fat nug when I look at it, Once I went to get a querter and it had a 5 inch bud. OMG I said as I took it out and broke a peice off to smoke. good times. Now Im buying weed from another intown, she gets it from her bf to sell, the other one I know is grounded, but steals it from his moms stash. She had like 2 pounds and he took about 30 grams in total. Good week I say.

 

Same here, everyone around here breaks their stuff up.

If available I always throw my bud in a grinder to get a great texture. The bud doesn't burn that well if it's all in one big nug, it might look prettier, but it just doesn't burn as well.

 

i've seen people put nugs into bowls, but it isn't all too commen.

don't you guys take stems out?

anyways as me for i like it finly grinded, in a grinder perferably
or at least broken up by hand.

yah it may burn faster, but it hits nicer, so just pack snapers and clear that bad boy.
