i wouldnt side one way or the other without seeing the pics, but who were these men that he was sharing the pics with and how did the authorities find out....there is much more to this story than is shown in the news article you posted.

 

Hm, this seems complicated at best. If they're just nudists then I think that's fair enough, of course.

It's a shame that there seems to be a bit more to this though.

Maybe the photographer (who's already serving a long jail sentence, though it seems not for the pictures of these particular kids) duped the father. And if the dad really wrote about "using his daughters as a passport " and said they "opened doors" for him in the naturist community then that's not a very good thing to hear, but it doesn't make him a criminal. But then again, how complicit was he in presenting his children in a sexualized style, and how "sexual" does it have to be in order to be called child porn? There really can't be laws that define this one way or the other. I just hope he can find a lawyer who can win the jury's sympathy.

So family pictures of me young and nude were ok, but if my father took pictures that were too focused on my vagina, that's porn? No it's just another part of our bodies. My vagina represents who am as much as my face. That is true when you are 5 or 50. If he were touching his daughter or clearly violating her in some way, then I could say it is porn.
