i believe that site rules prohibit full frontal nudity pics from being used as your profile pic. you can post full frontal nude pics of yourself in your pic folder, but can not use those pics as your profile pic unless you cover your genitals or crop the pic so your genitals are not exposed.
In my opinion, pictures that are censored or obviously cropped to avoid particular body parts are worse than pictures without any nudity at all.
I originally had a full nude with black circle over my private parts and it was removed by administrators. I was told no nude profile pics allowed. Seems to be double standard between male and female as to what is allowed. Oh well.
I find there's Nothing wrong with posting a body Naked - I think it's more a matter of strategic posing. Sometimes they can be iconic a la' Christine Keeler
My profile picture was removed. Even though I followed the guidelines. It was a side shot that did not show the restricted areas of the body. Along with the only post that had posted. It seems if you offend someone with a current political event that took place in Washington you become a victim of revenge
You do have to be aware of who might button mash your posts. Maybe try wearing a pair of shorts instead of something that shows your manhood.
If i was a nudist and i had this issue i'd put clothes on that cover everything. when you see nude pics up some people consider it as porn. Even if you want everyone seeing stuff it can be disgusting. I remember seeing all those nude pics of butts and boobs up in the media section. I think even a bloke put a pic up of his own dick at one stage.
I find it such a shame that for the majority of people, Nudity has become more Lewdness and Rudeness than Freedom of Spirit and Artistic Expression
Sorry to be so cynical, but I'd be afraid that some people wouldn't post a "respectable profile pic" but would put up something pornographic. We see so many fake-female or fake-gay-stud profiles here already that it's obvious that a lot of people are using this place for thrills, or just to play with false identities. Let people show full nudity, and I suspect it would be worse. There are other nudist forums that are more tightly moderated where this can work, but Hipforums isn't the place.
Whilst I understand the danger of illicit postings, why does HIP have a 'Bare it' section then? Aerianne's post, May 19, 2014. gives guidelines that seem to spell out part nudity allowance - that would include Avatars
I agree very much, wolf. I took a picture the other day meant to demonstrate the happiness that naturism causes for me. It's not meant to show anything much but I realised it would not pass the rules for the butt thread, for example. And it IS a shame because it's far less sexual than MANY clothed pictures I see in the girly threads. Most naturists' pictures seem unsexualised to me. But yeah I guess keep out of avatars so people have choice to avoid. But if censored or in a thread about such things.. All the societies issues with genitals and nipples seem absurd to me.
