I'm going for the first time next month. Looking forward to hanging out nude for 3 days, sitting round a camp fire with a beer and sleeping in a tent. Going alone, but campsite has a good reputation for welcoming single guys - there's a nice sounding social scene in the evenings with everyone expected to sit round the fire together. Anyone been camping recently? Any tips, advice for a first timer?
to be fair, you shouldn't scratch mosquito bites anyway. it just makes them last longer. an unscratchable bite is kind of ideal, because it shouldn't last longer than 20 minutes at that point.
No you should definitely scratch them and make them really big and then rub them hard so the skin comes off. Then, vinegar them. Or, vinegar is really good when they are small too so you don't have to hurt yourself I just find that when I got a itchy bite, torturing that son of a bitch is a good feeling. Espesidally ones on thick skin where you push needles through them without feeling. It's like. Fuck you itchy bite. I'll show you!!
We camp nude all the time through the summer. If you call camping in a 30' camper with every possible amenity actually camping.
I may have to put this on my summer to-do list... never done it but it sounds kind of tempting... anyone ever do it in the fall when there are less bugs and whatnot? I know the temps drop of course...
There's an interesting story from NZ where a group of naturists went camping on public conservation land. The rule when using designated public camp sites is that you stay no more than 4 days. Normally sites are not used, and the chances of finding anyone else are close to nil. On this occasion there was another party camped and they were Girl Guides. An arrangement was made and the sun club member camped in a circle and were clothed outside it. The Girl Guides, rather than jumping up and down were pretty cool about it. Rainbow gatherings are clothes optional and naked camping as such. You tend to find there is more nudity on fine days and associated with circle ceremonies.
Just follow the local campground rules. I don’t recommend frying bacon or getting too close to the campfire (otherwise chestnuts roasting over an open fire will have a whole new meaning to you). But seriously, most of the rules are just common sense. Example, bring a towel to sit on, don’t go snapping photos without permission, and eye contact when conversing is a good idea too . Bug juice is recommended to have on hand.
Fuck bug juice, I am bringing beer....and good beer. Anyhow. I went camping as a kid with the family but lost interest. I just got the bug again 30 years later. Went out and bought a tent with no official plans except that I expect to camp this summer. And being I sleep nude most of the time I can, ... i will say that also fits this post.
I have not been naked camping but would love to some time. I do go on nude hikes in woods so camping would be the next step. I have had nude picnics while on nude hikes.
