Question. Have you Every been nude around non nudist ? If yes how long of time. Were you comfortable with and were there comfortable with it. At home or any where else. I’m good with some and with other.
I jumped in my friend's pool on a hot summer day. I didn't have any swimwear so thought I'd just do it and see what happens. He was not ok with it and got me some shorts to wear. He asked me if I was gay and our friendship was never the same again after that.
I have had visitors to house where I was nude but they were not. No one seem to mind because it was my house and BBQ food they were eating. One girl was topless and it was a hot summer day. I try to cover up with shorts or robe in respect for others that don't approve of nudity.
Visitors to my studio where my photographs are printed and framed come to view those items, not the photographer, but they are advised in advance, I am a nudist, and that this is "harmless"! Occasionally shorts or budgie smugglers (Speedos!) will be put on e.g. people from Singapore are very uncomfortable with nudity (but swimwear is fine), as are people from the middle east (uncommon but had two last summer, and the husband insisted at the door that I be dress before his wife entered, who was clothed in traditional conservative muslim attire). Done. Happy people, and I sold the works.
of course, i guess anyone here can tell dozens of examples. Just think of going to the beach in a group and find out some prefer to stay nude there while others like to keep their swimwear on. This is a pretty normal situation, and i guess this is the way it should be (no rules, just freedom to choose). I guess the limits of feeling comfortable with it (as you asked) are if the others are fine with, and if it feels "safe" for me. If you ever did overcome the attitude that going bare is a "bad" thing, you actually don't think much about such questions. The most important thing is that all involved feel fine with the situation.
Ive been nude at the nudist beach and have talked to textiles who were walking by looking for shells and gawking. I've talked to some and found many have the interest in trying being nude. After some patient conversation I've actually got them comfident enough to go nude. I've been nude in my house when people have stopped by unexpectedly. Depending on who they are weather I'll dress or not
I've been naked around my friend many times. She knows I don't wear clothes and is fine with it. Not gonna lie I was scared the first time she saw me naked, but I got over that fast. She is very supportive and when we hang out I'm always naked now
Jumped in a lake naked because the water was warm and we weren't planning on swimming, so I went in naked. There were 11 others on the huge boat. Two freaked out, one was annoyed, three clapped, and the others gathered around to chat while I sat on the deck naked after I was done swimming.
Been nude around family and friends many times, being the only nude there. And places like hippie hollow and nude beaches. There are always folks there that don't go nude. and most people that come by my house see me nude and makes me the only nude. I am the only nudist in my family now.
I have been nude around my sister many times, although she has tried it a few times herself, don't know that she'd identify as nudist. A better example perhaps is a group of friends in college, where I went skinny dipping while the rest of them were clothed.
I was alone at a clothing optional resort. It was nighttime and it was a bit cool but I was nude in the tepid conversation pool. It was karaoke night and the indoor bar was quite crowded. I walked into the place and realized I was the only one nude. I went up the the bar and waited until the bartender could get to me. I was in a crowded bar totally nude while everyone else was clothed. It was awesome. Kind of a fantasy come true. Needless to say I went back in for 2 more drinks before the night was over!
I’ve been nude several times at Orient Beach in St Martin when “textiled” gawkers would walk by. I think THEY were more embarrassed than I was.
It's funny that you went to a clothing optional resort and You'restilltheonlynudistyouknow. But you make it sound as you don't actually want to know any other nudists anyway.
Yes many times, it's very common. Just because I am nudist doesn't mean I only socialise with other nudists, I have textile friends too. I am always nude at my home but not all visitors are. I am often nude around others but sometimes they aren't nude especially if they aren't nudists. There's parties where I am nude and there's a mix of people some others will be nude some will be dressed or in swimwear depending on the party. Some may wear sexy lingerie or revealing outfits because they find it sexier than nudity. Not everyone goes nude on nude beaches either, plus many European beaches tolerate nudity on regular beaches in quieter areas. I always sunbathe nude as do many friends, but a few don't, and again some prefer to wear a micro bikini as they find it sexier. I'm always comfortable with it because nudity is natural, usually others are fine with it too, if they aren't I cover up so I don't offend, simple as that.
That's awesome. My ex-roommate and I were like that. She never had a problem with me being naked. We've both seen each other naked before, as roommates often do, so after a while it just became no big thing. Except when she'd jokingly slap my ass while I was doing the dishes. Then there would be a big thing... well... an above average thing.
Someday I'd like to throw a myself a birthday party with all my friends there, only with me in my birthday suit. Just once. Bucket list fodder, that is.
