In the 1994 study above, it said that the data only comes from Rochester, which in 1993 had banned many types of guns and clips. So really the only thing it is saying is that people who own hunting rifles are less prone to violence.
The first paragraph sounds contradictory Whatever, amendment or 4th article of the bill, get update. Don´t you think that facts and circumstances have change in two centuries? No Sitting Bull, no red coat, fewer bears, no slaves taking revenge over theyr master.... You only need wepons because of others´s weapons, remove weapons of the equation That sounds awfull to me
I´m just trying to fix things, so your local kids doesn´t go to their school, shooting around, every month or few if i have to choose i prefer to be intollerant with things like that, than being tolerant to those who want weapons around Weapons are evil, if you can´t see that, there´s very Little we can do You can show your kids how to deactivate a bomb, you can make them creacionists, and make them believe whatever. That is not my problem, i´m going back now to the "I´m not a human" fórum for mysantropy
I really love how anyone who uses the word liberty in a sentence becomes a constitutional scholar. This is how it is: there is no god and he did not give you the right to own murder weapons regardless of what was written on a piece of parchment by 18th-century slave-owners armed with muskets. If you want to say "pry my gun from my cold dead hands," the answer you are going to get is gladly. Don't act like you could take down the government of the United States with an assault rifle because you're so badass. That's just petty narcissism. That being said, you probably don't even own an assault rifle so you are just posturing meaninglessly over a law that doesn't even affect you.
First of all. I highly doubt you're some all knowing being; So honestly, you don't KNOW that God isn't there. You couldn't possibly, do you know how relatively small we are compared to the universe? But even if one doesn't believe in God, there's a secular argument; "I have these Rights because I'm human, and these are HUMAN rights" The government didn't give us our Rights, they recognized them as human rights. I also want to say that you're brainwashed if you think US troops would go against the American Constitution and Disarm American citizens!!! Have you ever heard an Oath of Office? "I swear to DEFEND and uphold the US Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic." The US Constitution is not "some document written by slave owners." Like it or not, it's our founding document, and the law of the land!! http://oathkeepers.org/oath/
This is the definition of trolling, posting merely to create arguments (as contrasted to discussions. Your posting record ahiws a pattern of coming in only to argue. While you are making measured debate points, all is good. To all posters in thread, Keep it civil. We do have the First Amendment in play, too. Issues, not people, People. Make your points without personal attacks.
Accidental Shooting at Gun Show Marks Gun Appreciation Day http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2013/01/shooting-at-gun-show-marks-gun-appreciation-day.html What a shocker.
The never ending story. All that matters to gun holders is that there are too many gun holders, so their solution is more guns. The bill of rights, amendments, laws are just an excuse. Most of those "Bill" defenders, wouldn´t care of it, if we where talking of building pools or if they just didn´t agree with them. I bet they never read those things for real interest, only to support their right to have fear There´s no way i can convince that people that they are wrong. Removing of weapons can last centurys, when most americans mature, but is the only way the snow ball decreases. More weapons will only mean the contrary Some in Europe are fighting to keep rights like the social security. I guess there´s a diference between fighting for holding weapons, and fighting for free care Peace bro!
You can write 20 pages. That is my opinión. Simple and fair This is not a question of who writes the most, of who has it longer Over
I try to stay out of 'murican gun conversations but I gotta admit, I loled pretty hard at an article today that listed how many people got shot accidentally at gun rallies/shows at yesterday's events.
For what it's worth, i'd fight against building pools too. First of all, who's paying for all these pools?? Secondly, like Obamacare, not everyone NEEDS a pool, so we shouldn't be in the business of handing them out!!!
ya, We can thank Attorney General Erich Holder and his Fast &Furious for sending weapons to the drug cartels, way to go. Doesn't stop the posturing coming from D.C. Hypocrites.
Does anyone else find it hilarious that the justification for owning an assault rifle is this fantasy that one day you will use it to single-handedly fight off a drug cartel? Or the other fantasy involving overthrowing the US government and creating a post-apocalyptic Libertarian utopia? Like how likely do you think that is compared to the chance that you will be killed in a violent crime or gun accident?
We may need to open some new threads Any way we´d miss the subject of this one, the guns appretiation day: a/ vital as breathing b/ funny as joke
