Also you people who think the Con. shooting was a farce may want to consider the nra maybe planned it to get pepole to BUY GUNS ( just kidding btw) but really...who is making money now? The people making guns! derrrr. I don't care if people have small guns but who really needs weapons that mainly belong out in a war scene? People are really buying in to the fear. If it isn't the fear of conspiracy people are buying into the fear of " rights" being taken away. No one has taken anything away but a lil bit more of your money if you ran out a purchased a gun recently.

my point in mentioning that some think the shooting was made up is that none of us were there and we could take that footage and twist it however we want to make any point we want. then we can post our made up bullshit on you tube and spread rumors that people use as true to spread more rumors. we could flip the theories all the way backwords to say the gun companies created the whole thing for their sales to go up. people are crazy and easily manipulated.

Why is it ridiculous to have a gun appreciation day? People can do whatever they want, and support whatever they want. If they want to have a gun appreciation day to help protect their right to bear arms then so be it. And I don't think planning the gun appreciation day on the same day as MLK day was intentional. All it said about the date was that it is 2 days before Obama is gonna be inaugurated again.

Guns can protect one from tyranny. If the government tried to take away our freedom, guns are the things that will protect us.
Watch the government spraying unarmed people with eccessive amount of paperspray, beating innocent civilians to the ground and, giving an Iraqi veteran a concussion, with a fucking tear gas canister.

Americas taking steps into a police state, and guns are something Americans can and should hold unto for their own safety.

If the government can't trust us with our guns, why the hell would we trust them with theirs??

i rather see a gun in my hand than in someone else but seriously there's too much violence now and a lot of children getting killed due too poor gun control. I think it's about time we tighten gun licenses and make sure no psychopath can ever get hold of a gun

It a backlash against reasonable gun control.

Some people will fight tooth and nail against reason.
Also, to line their own pockets....Cha-Ching! NRA.

It's not due to poor gun control. Drugs are illegal, but criminals still get their hands on drugs. On the other side of the coin, criminals would still have guns. It would be citizens who would suffer, and lose the right to defend themselves under such laws.

I´m spanish, and i see your problem like a snow ball going down hill, if the US would banned weapons somewhere in 1900 (when Little indians or bears would justify weapons for all), you would have less trouble now. But you don´t know how to stop that ball when is so big, there´s only one way, banning weapons in 2013, you have checkt the buyers, so it should be easy to colect, maybe with some money back. Doing it that way you will have less troublle every minute. Of course there will be horrible crimes again, but they will decrease. and theyr weapons will turn into evidence, and get under control

The other way (i was thinking on the "red" way, but i´m afraid that weapons industry have blue ones too in their pocket) is worse and even worse. More fear because those scool murders, then more weapons buyed, then more nervous people, more fear more weapons. Over and over. More Steven Segal playng the game, more reality shows, then more fear and nervous people and more sickness

I perfectly know is not of my business, i´m a foreigner. But since you are the Rome of our time, the better you get, the better we can fix this world :cheers2:

Maybe a good educational system for all Works, canadians have weapons too but less trouble, anyway prohibition would work, as long as make dificult to buy weapons. Drugs are thinks some can easily hide. A weapons dealer on a black market would had serious trouble on hideing weapons

Criminals didn't find trouble smuggling alcohol in. Plus, if Americans were disarmed we may have a serious problem with drug cartels. Who currently roll with AK 47's, and guns that American citizens can't even buy!!!

Furthermore, America was founded due to the right to bear arms; and even Brittish's tyrannical government of that time didn't take our weapons away. It's immoral; "Free" people, should always have to right to protect themselves and, their family!!!

    1. Cannabis can be grown in your closet and alcohol can be brewed in your bathtub. Guns can only be made in a factory or by a highly skilled smith equipped with special tools.

    2. Drugs are soft and compact. Guns are made of metal. Alcohol can be disguised as any liquid. Drugs are typically smuggled in peoples' stomachs and then can be carried in the dealer's pocket. You can't swallow an assault rifle.

    3. Guns can be traced back to the dealer by their serial number. Drugs are anonymous and can't be traced back to the original source.

There is no need for militia nowadays, no english soldiers, no Sitting bull. The cartels are pólice business.

Besides in a country with a weapon by person rate, is where you can spect a policeman sooting first and asking questions later

The purpose of the 2nd is to make sure citizens of this country have the tools to defend themselves against tyranny, be that tyranny imposed from an external or internal force.
