Actually yep, you are technically right, sorry. lol Edu made a statement near the end of last year, saying he was taking an indefinite hiatus from singing. He had some terrible vocal performances last year, including one I personally myself witnessed during a live stream of Angra at Rock In Rio, in which he sounded awful. Not long after the RIR performance, Edu released a statement saying he was afraid of wrecking his voice by singing in the "unnatural" ways of power metal, and was taking an indefinite break from singing as he is afraid of blowing his voice out. I was remembering this when I said he had "left Angra", but I was mistaken, as looking at the statement again, he never actually specifically said that. Since he made that statement, there has been no news from Angra, (and indeed, no news about Angra on Edu's official website) so it's unknown as to what exactly is going to happen as regards to Edu and his position in the band. I would like him to stay, but it definitely is a possibility that he may end up leaving the band. I guess it all depends on how long it takes for his voice to recover, or even if it will. It's all up in the air at the moment...

Hmm... not bad! There aren't many great bands from Italy, but most of the great ones there are, all seem to be power metal bands! lol
