If you had an objective interest on the subject of churchburnings you would know that in for example Norway they associate this act not even primarily with muslims or foreigners.

I just don't see how anybody can't be cynical. We're all servants of a murderous system. We just keep on acting like all of this death and destruction is an accident. But we're basically tyrants. The Nazis of this world. Except, oh yeah, we aren't murdering people on purpose. It's all this big terrible accident that keeps happening. There's all these loose ends we have no control over and innocent people get killed. The US has a ton of white phosphorus and sometimes it accidentally gets sold and used on civilians. Or something. And who really cares.

Behind this whole glimmering facade of the West there is just a legacy of brutality. But it all gets whitewashed. And we just consume and live our wholesome little lives, casting judgments on our neighbors, nevermind the poor and the drunk and the drug-addicted and the weak. It's all about successful people living the good life. Being well-adjusted and loving things like the latest technology or beautiful architecture.
