The construction workers wanted a longer contract lest they find themselves wearing their yellow vests to protests instead of to work, so they started a fire to extend the work
Was built with a crapload of wood though. I have some empathy because its historic, but at the same time, meh was a big wooden structure. Just to add a different response to all the usual hip forums things. No one has said yet, hmmmm but it was a crapload of wood
Or evidence. Conspiracy forums right here champ. https://www.hipforums.com/forum/forum/385-conspiracy
If your suggesting that Trump and his cohorts are responsible for the fire to distract from the Muller report scheduled to be released on Thursday – you might be right
You should see that in perspective though: they were cut in the freaking middle ages. There were more oaks then and less alternative building materials He doesn't have to display sadness at all, Glen. He just doesn't have to be an asshole about other peoples sadness here. We told him. You're now just inviting him to repeat what he said before. You don't like what he has to say, so uhm.. drop it? You're only going in circles now Lol yeah, you were real mature about it. Especially when you accused others about getting personal and then you were the only one who got personal for no good reason Especially if it all has been said already
But if we also look into perspectives and I'm really reaching here but back in those days trees actually mean a lot more to people than they do today. They weren't taken for granted, it was a skilled trade to work with wood. Armour, weapons, utilities and tools. Nowadays none of this is made with wood. Like come to think about it, wtf are we doing with so much wood these days anyway? What are we cutting down forests for? Do it yourself fucken home projects? Fuck off. Can land a man on the moon but we're back in the stone ages on earth working with wood. The human species should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.
Yeah, that's the perspective I was getting at It has nothing to do with that I suspect. But the Russians might have!
Yes but then so I mean cutting down an entire forest for a building should have meant more to them too, than now we just like - Pfff a forest, cut two down, make it look awesome. So like by like size of forest-population ratio, I mean. You know what I mean? Lol I just read that back and it made little to no sense to me after 4 tries. I'm going to leave it there and hopefully get to laugh at it in a few years.
Yes, I get your meaning Another thought: I think in our neck of the woods (pun intended) oaks are sparcely used now. It's taken into account there are less of them and they take long to get big. But yeah, doesn't change that over deforesting is an enormous problem in other parts of the world, often illegally (including near us though, I recently took notice of it happening in Romania. Some rich folks are trying to buy the land now in order to turn it into a nature reserve in order to save it Hope they manage in time! Not all people are shitty excuses for human beings Not even the rich ).
From 850 years ago, theyd all be dead. You would just have a pile of dust either way (Oak trees live 200 to 600 years)
Trump colluded with Russia to demagnitize the tin foil the islamic extremist construction workers were wearing on their heads to protect them from aliens who kept instructing them circular saws powered on when they finished for the night
