I don't disagree with you, but I don't see your point here. Why would Israel, the lone Jewish state and therefore an outsider in Arab politics, want to get involved in this? It would directly validate Syrian loyalists' fears of a Jewish conspiracy. Israel will act suddenly and without warning IF they feel they are threatened. Remember the Six-Day War?

 

FYI, Syria is the main enemy of Israel in the region. They are the ones that continually send rockets into Israel. The six day war was 50 years ago. In those 50 years the Muslims have acquired enough chemical weapons to kill every Israeli. That's not a threat?

 

Ummm, their main enemy in the region is Iran. Over the past decade Syria hasn't done anything towards Israel except talk shit. They certainly haven't been "continually" sending rockets into Israel. I think you're confusing them with those Hizbollah fucks in Lebanon.

 

I'll repeat what I said in another thread---I don't particularly agree with Israels actions regarding the Palestinians and the building on land seized in '67, but if anyone shoots poison gas into Israel---that will be the END of that country as we know it. You know why. I'll say one thing for them. They don't have to blab around like our so-called leaders. They just get shit done when they need to.

Israel would not exist if not for the U.S.. It's the foreign aid we have given them since 1948 that has built their military. Before that it was owned by the Palestinians since before the first crusade. Because of the U.S., the League of Nations(now the United Nations) took the land and the homes of the Palestinians, and gave it to the Jews. This whole stupid thing is just a continuation of the crusades. Before that, supposedly "God" told Moses to kill the peoples of that land and take it from them. So Israel has been a stolen land since before Jesus.
The Muslims haven't given up the fight since 1948, or since the crusades. The Catholic church underestimated the native people three times during the three crusades, and got their asses kicked all three times.
What the U.S. has done to the Muslim world is no different than what was done to the Native Americans. The U.S. and U.N. have broken every treaty and promise made to them since WWI. The U.S. killed over a million women, children and elderly in Iraq and Afghanistan in the last 15 years. The Jews have killed that many in the West bank, Gaza and Golan Heights(on the border with Syria) since 1967. Raygun supplied both sides of the Iran/Iraq war, so they'd keep killing each other. That war was the classic Sunni/Shiite religious war. It's calculated genocide, yet the Muslims refuse to stay on the reservations. They refuse to capitulate, and never will.
One moron poster claimed that it was Hezbollah that bombs Israel, not Syria. But only the ignorant don't know that Syria supplies Hezbollah, and some of those bombs come from inside Syria, dumbass. Trying to pretend that you know what you don't, just makes you that much more of a moron. It's called doubling down on stupid.
So anyway, the U.S. involvement in this stupid shit, is all about fulfilling the prophecies in the Christian bible. The Jews are still waiting for their Messiah. And the Muslims are still fighting for their land and Allah.
The Christians believe Jesus was the messiah, the Jews believe Jesus was a fake and a liar, and the Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet.
So it's "beliefs" that are make this shit a reality. So praise Jesus(Christian god), praise Elohim(Jewish god), and praise Allah(Muslim god). Just keep killing for God. My "God" is better than your "god". My God gets a capital, yours get a small case, because I'm right and you're wrong.

Only I don't think the state of Israël got solely religion to thank for it's existence. There were earthly reasons of course that made it seem useful for the west to create a jewish state there after WW2.

 

The same is true when it comes to the military forces of Israel's enemies. In 1948 the Arab armies surrounding Israel were much, much better equipped and trained. They still lost. After this the Soviet Union was pouring arms and weapon systems into those same countries, more even than the US was sending to Israel, and still the Arabs lost....

And before them it was owned by the Romans. Before them the Jews. Then there are the Turks to consider. They ruled that region for centuries as well.

No he didn't. US military hardware used by the Iranians during that war was obtained prior to the ousting of the Shah. Any subsequent shipments (Iran-Contra Affair) were dwarfed by the billions in weapons and aide given to Saddam. We had a single horse in that race and it was Iraq.

No it wasn't. If it was the Shiites of Southern Iraq wouldn't have sided with Saddam. Why did they? Because while they were Shiites, they were also Arabs. That was was a classic example of the Arab-Persian conflict.

I also want to mention that the Israeli military is notoriously secretive, again dating back to the Six-Day War. Surprise is a big part of their strategy, and a large reason why the state of Israel still exists. They definitely are making contingency plans, setting up for possible strikes, preparing to secure their borders, etc. They just don't want to get involved if they don't have to. If the Arab League and/or NATO takes care of it, why enforce the Israeli stereotype of aggression?
