i know its gune be a mess, theirs allready loose hair all over, i just wane make sure that i get dreds in rufly the places where i want em and not just random clumps here and their. I think i wil atleast keep palm roling in the off chance that it will shape them more rounded when their done. Their real flat after i take my hat off or wake up i dont really think id like them if they dreded and stayed like that.

Do even mature dreds go flat like that after sleeping or can they hold their rounded shape?

As they tighten up they're not so influenced by squishing :)

have had mine 19 years almost all have wghispy tipes not 1 is round and iu would totaly hate em if they were
    how boring would that be?

but on the subject of backcombing waxing and bands
let mke start out with ...yes backcombing is a waste of time
dreads happen wether u baxckcomb or not the results arenjt that different ..only slightly faker looking and moree dammaged
the time to maturity also in many cases is about the same.. sometimes natural can take longfer thouigh
    palm rollingt

useless a hugbve huge waste of time and effort and if u do do it enough to make any difference at all yopur doing it enough to cause dammage
drewads are not meant to be perfectly round..if u want that might as well go with synthetyic

bands.. after 1 week or so your gonna be destroting knots by removing them, after 2 weeks u risk losing the bands entirely inside the dreads or at least peioces of bands ..this means they drty riot in there creatting a sticky gross mess

wax... biggest mistake u can make..the destroyer of dreads
your only 2 weeks ion if u got wax in your besxt bet is comb it all out do extensive wax removal then start over waxless
if u try removing it from drewads well you may not ever get it out
we have seen ppl use it only 2 weeks and still 2 years later find theyre dreads caked in it at the core
    it is evil

once your wacx free you probly shouldnt backcomb again imediately or your just compounding dammage so id suggest a month going natural okf your noty showing progress then twist and rip (less dammaging then backcombing)

wether u continue naturaly or twist n rip after that dont do nothing leave em alone leave bands out they sdo not help u 1 bit

but patience does.. 2 weeks and pannicing? well suree u made alotta mistakes in that 2 weeks but realize u hafta give em months not weeks to do anythiong at all

so start over then sit back and relax... i know ya dont wanna look like a druggie but perhaps smokin a joint will help get ya lil more relaxed and help u let nture take its course

u can officialy call it a prescribed medicinal dose if that helps ease your mind

In case you are pannicing about your drewads now, there are grey areas which exist between the black and white, where it is possible to do and apply a number of things to your dreads without completely wasting your time, wrecking them, or falling victim to evil. Find something that works for you and the way you want your own hair on your head to be, but just research well and use a little common sense.
