yea dude, Opeth. i used to be a huge Opeth fanboy, now i mostly just vibe on Orchid, My Arms, Your Hearse and Blackwater park

 

Adult. is awesome, I just discovered them recently because a friend recommended em. There isn't much on youtube but you'd be wise to track down the album "Why Bother" it's called electroclash but idk what that is, all I know is the album is a delightful mix of abrasive electronic and postpunk...and i dont even like postpunk

 

yeah i used to like opeth too, used to like all that sort of stuff actually but im totally different now, my metal days ended two years ago

been listening to a lot of jungle and dub recently though, anything bass-y i usually like and other than that anything that sounds good

Also OP while you did state what you meant by typical stoner music, there are many different types of stoners who all have their own grooves. Typical stoner music for some might be Bone Thugs in Harmony, while to others it is the classic spacey rock. Just pointing out that the premise of the question is slightly flawed
