No, they WANT you to vote because it proves to them the people still have faith and believe in their illusionary sham of a system.
Which will happen when it is too late. And I'll be sitting somewhere laughing my ass off. and snoc... your replies are just brillant. I wish I was an intelligent as you and not voting myself. Teach me your ways.
I mean, you can vote for one of the two hand-selected puppets, and it doesn't matter because they are both vetted by the internationalists to serve their current roles. Or you can vote for one of the "third party" candidates who won't win anyway. Either way it's a lost cause. Your votes mean squat to them because it's already been decided. If lots of people were all of a sudden to not vote, the controllers would panic because they would know that people are no longer falling for their scam.
Ron Paul is the "lone cowboy riding off into the sunset" especially suited for the American mentality. He may be sincere but he is being used and would not have the power to bring about any change. Besides were he to become president he would likely be bought off. Want me to vote? Here is my vote, a change to this scam of a system and time for something that is actually for the people! Who else wants to vote that way? We need more of you! This is an interesting episode with all the subtle meanings and messages: http://watchthesimpsonsonline.com/movie/307-The_Simpsons_1910_E_Pluribus_Wiggum.html
what is the vetting process exactly? I have heard the word a bit lately, esp with Palin....but I am not sure that I get it exactly. Is it like a briefing?
The vetting process is the process of picking people who will do as they're told by their handlers. They're often very much entrenched in the system and usually members of establishment NGOs such as the Council on Foreign Relations. Sarah Palin is actually the only person out of the four people combined on both tickets to actually not be vetted in the traditional sense of the word. Yes, she was picked to run with McCain, but they're simply using her to counter Obama and attract voters to their side. It was merely a strategic ploy to boost McCain's campaign and level the playing field with Obama.
Everyone is either vetted or stupid or being used unknowingly (or a combination of the three). The system is to corrupt and fucked up for any ONE person to change anything. How can people be so naive to not realize that? And to not realize that Bush or Obama do not answer to us.
Yes, I agree. I am very much skeptical of Ron Paul also. It makes sense that they would use a grandfatherly figure like Paul to attract people who are disillusioned with the current system by renewing their faith in the non-existent democratic process. I am sorry to say that most of these ardent Ron Paul followers are every bit as much dupes as those who follow Obama and McCain. They too have their slogans they love to parrot without really understanding what they mean.
voting is being a sheep to the system... if you get enough people not to vote.. the system has to change it is neither a priviledge or a right.. it is playing their game baa means no! (sometimes)
Urgh.. Well deal with it. I know little about politics but I know that the BNP will ruin it here and theyre already getting more power. So sue me if i wish to prevent that. P.S im not even american. EDIT: I just remembered, you thought i was a boy before as well, , an american boy instead of a brit girl. haha.. xD
yeah, of course i agree with that... the two-party system is really unfair. unfortunately, americans can't think for themselves. i don't like the fact that we have puppets... but we do, so i vote for the ones who support policies i agree with. it's the best i can do right now.
This seems to be based on the assumption that there is somehow an objective of the candidates to oppose private capital influencing government... that they see this as a sore point with taxpayers, it's going to be part of the campaign rhetoric but not really part of the plan. If the government took seriously it's responsibility to separate itself from undue influence from private money then something meaningful would have actually been done. What we see is a refusal to pursue meaningful reform and not ineffectual policy- except that it be deliberately so in order to be creative in fooling people into believing that a sitting congressman or woman is a reformer. This is so spot on I can't add a thing.
I can't vote....just a wee little one, but what bothers me is that someone as young as me can realize how fucked up the system is and i really can't do anything about it. But people that can do something about it, don't. Because they really don't know and they won't bother to try and do their research to figure it out. Ignorant fucks that are stuck in one mind set.
