I think that the north korean leadership are like overgrown babies. Paranoid and with delusions of granduer, and all sorts of other things.... I think that some elements would be happy to actually launch an attack. But ehh, let's remember they've been at war for half a century, and haven't done shit yet. I don't think that china or russia will do shit to support them. They both are powerful nations, but also depend greatly on the US for their growth and power. I think that an attack by north korea might mean world war, because being allies, they would have to support or condemn the dprk. I do not think that china or russia want that sort of war, it's just a cold war hangover that they can't shake off easily. I mean, they saw how OUR cold war hangover ended, in iraq.... and north korea could be a lot worse in many ways. Ultimately, I suspect that if korea launches an attack, russia and/or china will step up and either nuke them, or threaten to. But korea has a small nuclear arsenal at best, that may or may not function properly, and I think that the response would be to absorb the damage and try to make a targeted strike against north korean weapons, and an allied invasion. China would do better to be making air jordans there to sell to the US, than to be starting nuclear war over that little shithole. And they know it. Another option is that north korea will be traded for taiwan. Taiwan has an illigitimate, corrupt government that the US backs. It would end up a strange mixture of hong kong and tibet. And north korea will be delivered to the south, but the US will still see some imaginary reason to maintain military bases there. China will give a politburo position to kimmy, and the US will give amnesty to the fuckers it taiwan.
SEOUL, March 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's government will toughen its crackdown on swindlers and extortionists targeting North Korean defectors living in the South, officials at the Unification Ministry said Sunday. The ministry received a total of 41 complaints and petitions from defectors living in South Korea last month through the state-run North Korean Refugees Foundation and asked police to open investigations into six of them, the officials said. In four of the six cases, suspected scammers prodded the former North Koreans to falsely apply for asylum in a third country in an apparent bid to defraud them of their money, the officials explained. The defectors were induced to buy cars, mobile phones and other expensive products in South Korea before being led to apply for asylum in third-party countries, they said, adding the con artists soon resold the pricey items for profit. By contrast, the defectors ended up saddled with loads of debt after returning to South Korea following the rejection of their overseas asylum requests. In other cases, North Korean defectors were defrauded of their resettlement compensation paid by the Seoul government after being snared by extortionists. The South Korean government provides each defector with a subsidy of 7 million won (US$6,360) in cash in an effort to help them better assimilate, while they can also receive up to 13 million won to finance their housing. About 25,000 North Korean defectors have settled in South Korea since the end of the 1950-53 Korean War and a stream of North Koreans continue to defect to the South. A female defector said a defection broker came to visit her and threatened to send her back to the North unless she paid money, the ministry officials said. Another defector paid money to a would-be broker in return for helping to rescue his family from the North but eventually lost contact with the scammer. In recent months, several North Koreans were caught spying for Pyongyang, both voluntarily and under threat from the North's authorities, after falsely defecting to South Korea. North Korean defectors in China are said to pay anywhere from several million to tens of millions of won to brokers to reach the South. Shitty. How crazy is that, that they're so isolated that their spies have to "defect" to get out, and into korea.... like, I'm pretty sure that even the CIA and KGB just went to the fucking airport.
ever see North Korea at night, via satellite .. They live in the dark. North Korea appears as a sea of darkness in this famous photograph. The capital city Pyongyang registers as the sole blip of light..
mole people, living under ground making nukes, eating babies.. NORTH KOREA'S famine is so bad it has driven some people to cannibalism, with one man executed by firing squad after murdering his own children for food, according to reports emerging from the notoriously secretive state. He probably figured it was better than growing up into stunted malnourished north koreans with no hope for anything, ever, aside from death. Just skip the whole stage of want and get there already.
I know. But it is amusing. It amuses me that they think this will frighten anybody. Maybe it does. Maybe it is used as a pretext. I don't know.
Middle east is winding down. Must have "new" enemy. $$$$$$$$$$$ galore in this war business. But not for you.
