North Jersey Folk?

Grew up in Manhattan- but we move to Jersey in 1961 or 62

When I Lived in Totowa NJ -I also worked in Fairfield, then the company moved to Florham Park

Now Im in Point Pleasant- -But Im 58 yrs old & its a little calmer down here in South Jersey

 

I just moved to N jersey. Im up a little ways past newark. I would love to meet some chill ppl to hang out with, maybe hit up some music.....

 

I know this is an old thread, but this is me saying hello from West Milford... Grew up in Pompton Plains/Pequannock... now live on Upper Greenwood Lake.

 

I see this thread is about 2 yrs old- - Still down the shore in South ,Jersey

Get back to The Bronx and Manhattan less and less these days

BTW- The best Hippie shop is on Bloomfield ave(The Inner Eye) - Montclair
and Fairfield has a good one called "the hippie shop" not too original but its also on bloomfield ave

down by me - the boardwalk has lots of them- - and the "Grateful Bread" bakery is in Brick twpship

 

ahhh the upper lake.....i'm in bergen but have a few friends on the U.L.
Ive played in a few of the bars up there too

 

Jersey City, NJ..... NYC's "Other borough"

 

Lived the majority of my life in Gloucester county. Haven't spent a whole lot of time in North Jersey.

 

raised in morris, reside in essex...new to forum glad to see u all!

 

I'm at the jersey shore, but been to most of your areas cuz I know people from the majority of NJs counties. I love going up to jersey city, Hoboken, Morris county even, really peaceful out there if u want to just unwind...
