I escaped Kansas to Wyoming....trust me, its a better trade than you think! Lawrence is hip, don't expect much from anywhere else IMO...raised in Kansas City area.

 

Yeah, I am out to denver here in the next 15 days. I am from the riley country area. KSU w00t... :/

Chanute. Kansas has it's good points. A million places to grow weed and you can't drive 5 miles without seeing a white buffalo.

I'm residing in Kansas, for now. I was born here, then moved around alot, until I was blessed with my children, so I planted roots & sort of came home...there are alot of worse places to be, but the close mindedness & bible thumpin' around here is crazy! I wish I knew more like minded folks here to hang out with, because the meat market bar scene is not for me, & seeing how, at least in Wichita, there isn't much to do outdoors, I am bored most days.

This place can be badass if you know where to go and who to talk to.
I personally love the city and lawrence, though there are quite a few stuffy conservatives lurking here. I don't mind it myself.
