this is from CNN, not fox news lol... all you can say is bs bs bs, you can't give any reason, i have provided the most recent updates in the economy... unless you think cnn is working for bush now lol....(they have been the largest fear mongerers of the "R" word to get ratings for so long and even they are admitting the facts)

i dont care what happened 2 years ago, i dont care what happend 10years ago, what i care about are the daily developments in the markets, and they are starting to show signs of an uncoming turn around(and have been for the last little while, i am willing to bet my own money that the economy will turn around, then i will be called a neocon texan for keeping up with the stock market lol), speculation doesn't really do anything i guess we can wait and see what happens :)

My grandfathers father died when he was 9 years old, leaving himself and his older brother to take care of their mother. He and his brother attended school and worked on a nearby farm to help support the family. At 17 years old he joined the Navy. Taking what little money he had saved, he attended college. Working for the University throughout school, he graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree. His first job out of college was with P&H Harnischfeger. Early in his career he set a goal that he would one day become President of the corporation. Working his way up the chain he worked for years under Henry Harnischfeger as Vice President. Henry would eventually announce his retirement and the position was offered to my grandfather. He accepted the position and immediately retired. He had met his goal. From a young boy he learned that anything he wanted in life he would have to work for. There was no welfare, no GI Bill, no Financial Aid. Every luxury in life he afforded he earned. Self-made like Henry Ford. Ground up. The point is, there are people that become nothing and blame everyone else along the way, and then there are the people that have the determination and the will to get what they want in life, whatever that may be. At 82 years old my grandfather put on a pair of blue jeans. It was the first pair of blue jeans he had worn in over 60 years. They reminded him of poverty.

    That's awesome.
I'd love to work my way up somewhere. I wish times were different, like when you could apprentice and truly work your way up. I'm willing to work hard, nobody seems to want me though. :p I'm working on getting a second job, still waiting for call backs.

Is the Labor Department itself guilty of fear mongering when it publishes rising jobless claims?? hmmm?

    Neo-con recession survival gear:
    The dildo flashlight

Here's something useful for Acqua, Wacky and Hipstatic, that they can use
to search for those "upbeat economic data and statistics" while stuck deep inside Acqua's ass, to perpetuate Bush's claim that "there is no recession".

This handy flashlight also doubles as a dildo, that these three suckers can share whenever they decide to have group sex.

Made in Japan, of course. :jester:

    Housing crisis: Far From Over
    http://www.cnbc.com/id/23728596

For those Americans who are still in denial, and might find themselves losing their homes, their jobs, their money..., ACQUA, offers a space inside his ass, so they can perpetuate their illusions and fantasy world.

If you didn't care about the past, you obviously cared enough to post them, dumbass.

If you learned how to stop wanking with your other hand while the other hand hits the send button, it might have saved you the embarassment.

You know, if you're so obsessed with sexual fantasies about men, you can always try the Gay forum. You sure don't have much to say about economics.

    ===========

Whether we're in a recession or not isn't a fact, but I agree that meeting the strict academic definition isn't the point (2001 didn't meet the definition either). We are definitely in a significant slowdown. And it has been several decades since the US had a significant house price decline - that has to have a significantly negative impact. Plus, the financial sector crisis is making things significantly worse.

I'm sure its going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

What is left that is sellable?

    http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Global_Economy/JC11Dj01.html

Hmm... I guess, it can be said that, none of us in this forum don't have much to say about how the "economics", or rather, it's mismanagement, that this country has turned out don't we??

I guess, let's just leave the talking to the creditors and let them speak with their money, and let gay dumbasses like you, Bush and the Neo-cons continue to live in your fantasy world.

Thanx! That’s very commendable! The reason I asked was that some of your statements seemed like you were unaware of the real difficulties that the homeless encounter in their attempts to get off the street.

Myself, I recently spent two years living in a crack house (long story not having to do with drug use). During that time I had the “opportunity” to talk to addicts as well as the homeless that were trying to get back on track.

Addicts have their own set of problems in finding employment and the homeless have theirs. As for the homeless one of their first problems is lack of ID, muggings are common and with them go any identification they might have. No identification no job thanks to the new employment laws to discourage illegal immigrants, for the same reason, illegal immigration, it is nearly impossible for someone without identification to get identification. Assuming that the homeless person can hold on to his IDs the next problem is that there is no way to contact the homeless, if they apply for a job or assistance program, the first thing they’re asked is how can we contact you? This is a bit problematic when you don’t have a phone or address. Not to say these things can’t be overcome but it takes a lot of time a effort, and it’s a little more difficult than just popping in and asking for a job.

PS I actually hope your predictions are correct! But unlike the technology slowdown that you mentioned earlier, the housing problem appears to be more nationwide and almost all bank and financial institutions seem to be heavily involved. At the same time the US is deeply in debt and spending a lot of money on the war and so does not have a lot of extra money to spend to bail everyone involved out. Like you said they do have the right just to print more money but that would further devalue the dollar which doesn’t seem like a good thing at the moment.
