everything that i am is being torn apart

 

Why should that be?

Can't you detach yourself from what is tearing you apart and be truly independent?

 

I spend every day praying for deaths sweet embrace.

Hahaha... I'm just kidding, my life is great. Babes, bucks, I got it all.

Yep. There's a reason why everybody wants to be drinking buddies with you.

Maybe we should invite Sooty to go have a drink with us, that'll cheer her up! She's pretty tom-boyish, isn't she?

 

Maybe shes just depressed... still nothing beats a depressant to chase the blues away.

I remember when I was a very little girl, our house caught on fire.
I'll never forget the look on my father's face as he gathered me up
in his arms and raced through the burning building out to the pavement.
I stood there shivering in my pajamas and watched the whole world go up in flames.

And when I was 12 years old, my father took me to the circus, the greatest show on earth.

I know what you must be saying to yourselves.
If that's the way she feels about it why doesn't she just end it all?
Oh, no. Not me. I'm in no hurry for that final disappointment.

I suspect it's only some heartbreak blues, and not serious depression.

 

Huh?

I think you're trying to annoy me in the way I'm probably annoying sooty.

 

Lets hope so.... I dunno if I'm qualified to diagnose it.

But I figure a night of binge drinking'll get rid of most problems.

 

Yeah, it is the most effective remedy against heartbreak blues, but it is very much a panacea for all forms of emotional pain.

 

Then again, it could be like putting a band-aid on a decapitation.
