The only effect I've noticed from cigs is that if you smoke one RIGHT after smoking pot, you get a little bit higher. Something to do with nicotine making your blood vessels open up. If that's really the reason, you should be able to get the same effect from enough caffeine...

I heard the same from one of my runners. And I do get more buzzed when I have a cig after a joint, but it's more of a relaxed buzz after the headrush.

I miss the days when I would get a huge buzz every time I smoked a cigarette. Every so often I'll get a minor buzz from my first cigarette of the day when I'm drinking coffee but that's it. I plan to quit October 1.

I quit smoking, but when I smoked, I could ONLY smoke when I felt like complete shit...because it would make me instantly happy/OK after I smoked. I couldn't smoke if everything was going well.

But that's about all tobacco was "good" for, for me. But NO MORE, ever!!! Sometimes it did make me feel like shit, when I would try to smoke when nothing was wrong...for instance just smoking out of boredom, but I was perfectly fine.
