Yeah, that's why I don't really really like them as much... They're way too political and a lot of the people who go to their concerts are drunks. The main reason I wanted to go is becase I've never been to a show by them and I'd pay just to see them do Freebird as an encore.
you gotta be picky man, paying 100 bucks to see a band play one song, and to have to hang out with drunkin jocks, is not worth it. plus didnt they have some lyric in sweet home alabama which was anti neil young?
No, that was somewhat of a tongue and cheek thing... they loved neil, but didn't understand why he was writing a song about the south being like that if he had never spent any time there to actually know... and it kind of made both of them look a little ignorant by doing it, though it was kind of cool/interesting, either way... and they still had a respect for each other. The tickets were $27.50.
and lastly nirvana and the doors (someone said the doors suck) kick ass and are gods. and lynyrd skynyrd is pretty good too.

well i shouldn't say that, i know some of their bass parts, and theyre really well written. i should have said jim morrison sucks. he was a drunk idiot who thought he was a poet.
